What's to believe? We're all one human species, and we've all been ... uh ... doing it ... for as long as our species has been around. There's nothing new about it.

Race can sometimes be used to indicate a certain culture that a person is in but that is not always the case. Relationships start out with people having common cultures and and values.

If that is the case, then the idea of inter-racial relationship is a misleading name. The relationship is based more on values and thus race would not be an issue. The only way you can define a relationship as an inter-racial relationship is if the two people liked each other due to the color of their skin, or any other physical features they were born with and had no control over.

karkalis -- people dont plan their relationships around keeping culture going.

Interracial or intercultural? I am white and have had a couple of relationships with ladies from other races that did not work out, but the problem was our different cultures not race.

If you fancy someone enough to start a relationship with them then obviously skin colour is not an issue. Cultural, and religious differences can have a greater impact on the success or otherwise of a relationship.

Color is only skin deep. Fall in love with the person, not their color. I am a Native American Indian-Navajo and my wife is Anglo. We met on a church website, dated and then married. When all is said and done, in the end (middle) during the second coming of Christ, there will be no different races/color of people. We are all God's children!

Race is an artifical concept invented by insecure people. Judging someone solely on skin color is superficial.

I'm white and I've dated asian girls before. I don't seem to be attracted to people of African descent for some reason.

Yes, Latino. I don't speak Spanish and most Latinas don't find that attractive so I date outside of my race out of necessity but the experience has been great!

I presonally dont believe in them. But I have grown to accept it. As long as the families of the ones in the relationship is ok with it and the couple is happy and in love that is all that matters.

I'm white, and I've never had an inter-racial relationship. (Not because I'm racist or anything)
I don't see whats wrong with inter-racial relationships. If the two people make each other happy, then thats all that matters.

I'm Black, and yes I do believe in interracial dating because its not about the color of your skin, I don't see color, I just see a decent man who has caught my attraction. It's sad that there are still racism out there, but hey unfortunately we cant cure everybody.
