i would agree on the smartass part an from that a little full of his self. I don't understand why ur friend would think that is sweet

If you're asking then you must doubt his intention. Was he really kidding, if not he things way to highly of himself. If he was it's the same wish crack i pulled on my wife to the point wear it got no reaction at all from her.

i think its a funny little joke! unless he was actually being serious! which i doubt. sounds like u two r comfortable and happy and not afraid to be ur goofy selves around eachother :)
