Are you finding that now a days, guys are getting cheap. Not only that they want you to pay your own way on a date they are wanting to to treat them to. They want you to buy them things and take care of them. Its like your courting them.I don't go out with them again or I take a cab home. If I have to pay his way and mine that is the cost of a cab ride. I know alot of you ladies say that its better going dutch. Yeah maybe if your just friends. Alot of you say that if a guy pays your way he might want something from you.
I kind think thats negative thinking. I think a guy should value a women and make her feel like a women. Treat her like she special. Have her best interests in mind. I know you guys are saying well there are girls out there that want to take advantage of me and use me for money. Really you don't have to take her out some where fancy just show her respect and be a gentleman instead of trying to take care of your own best interest by trying to get whatever you want.

Tell do you think it fair that the guy your for the first time insist on paying your way but you want to pay your own way. He says that you can get the popcorn and drinks. He wants a large popcorn and drink. The cost of the 2 tickets he bought was to go to the movies was half of what you paid for the popcorn. Is that fair?

Wow, I'm reading all this stuff here. It seems like it almost the battle of the sexes. Having a guy paying your way isn't a bad thing. He is being a gentleman. He is treating you like a women.

This whole women liberation's **** has caused some problems. Yes you still came be a liberated, womanly and strong.Enjoy being a women. A man helps empower a women to be womanly.
A happy women makes a man stronger. Yeah if you want to pay half go for it. But I agree as long as he is not demanding that your paying his way and he is getting laid for free. You have to put your foot down to ill treatment from these guys. Demand respect. That what being womanly is about. Show them that your not going to stand for it. Maybe they will get the idea and treat women better.

From that Madonna Song,
"What you need is a big strong hand is to lift you to your higher grounds make, make you feel like the queen of the prom make him love you till you can't come down."

All I hear is bitterness between the sexes. Frick what is wrong with being a gentleman and what is wrong being a women.
Maybe if there was some tenderness and courtesy maybe there would be more healthier relationships and high self estem. Everyone stop being selfish.

It is because: Why buy the cow when the milk is free?
Guys aren't into the gentlemen status they used to be. Girls want a nice boy for a steady or marriage one day. Guys want a piece of ***. I am sorry to be blunt but, I am 35 and know this all too well. What I did is go celibate and then every guy that couldn't have me, begged. I only give it up in marriage and I feel great!

the right undertaking is that the guy inquiring for the date is expected to pay the expenditures, till that's agreed only before time to do it in yet otherwise. The examples you provide do not possibly upload up. The movie/popcorn undertaking skill he meant to pay for all, yet you asked to pay for some. The others sound like he's the two broke or inexpensive. So is he broke? Are you? in case you 2 prefer to bypass out and you have funds and he's broke, according to probability you may pay. in case you do not prefer to pay, then tell him you won't be in a position to, yet only before time. He could do an identical.

kudos!!! ok, so guys should definitely pay for the first few dates IF they are the ones who asked you out! if you asked them out, then it is optional as to who pays. the only other time i think a woman should pay is if the people have been dating for a while, and they begin to take turns. that is because it starts to get really expensive for the guy to always pay. this is if the people go out every other night of the week and weekends.

now, a guy shouldn't expect to get sex or anything out of paying, ether. a guy could take a girl out 20 times and she doesn't owe him anything sexually.

yeah, its way too complicated....

Truthfully, no im not ... granted i have been with the same man for 4 years ..... you just have to give them time to fall in love ..... seriously ... in order for men to want to buy you those little (big) gifts than you dont just give them like a week. Studies say that men take up to a month to fall in love, and 2 months just to say I love you and mean that they really love you. Also it takes up to 2 months for them usually to buy anything. But some men are different. As for me i dont look for money or gifts .. ilook for the quality time i can spend with my man. Than again its just me probably!

I'm a guy and all I will say is that I, for one, treat women with respect. I believe in treating all humans with respect. Relationships are built on respect and trust. They are meant to be mutually beneficial.

THE PROBLEM IS, SOCIETY IS CHANGING...WOMEN ARE GETTING JOBS THAT EVEN SOMETIMES PAY MORE MONEY THEN A MALES JOB. (THIS IS THEIR OPINION) WHY SHOULD WE PAY IF YOUR MAKING EQUAL AMOUNT OF MONEY?
THE WHOLE "IL PAY FOR THE GIRL" COURTASY WAS CREATED BECAUSE WOMEN DIDNT HAVE JOBS TO HAVE MONEY TO PAY FOR THINGS, LIKE DINNER. SO MANY WOMEN ARE WANTING TO BE EQUAL TO MEN...IN RESPECT..AND PAY...AND TREATED EQUAL...AND JOB OPERTUNITY'S SO WHY SHOULD YOU BE COMPLETELY EQUAL, BUT WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO WHO SHELLS OUT THE MONEY...THE GUY HAS TO? IF YOU WANNA BE EQUAL, PAY EQUAL. THATS THERE THOUGHTS ON THE MATTER....MY OPINION ON IT IL KEEP TO MYSELF
