If you loved a girl, but discovered later on that she wants a love relationship without sex, till marriage, which wont happen till few more years. What will your reaction be?

The kindergarten class had a homework assignment to find out about something exciting and relate it to the class the next day. When the time came for the little kids to give their reports, the teacher was calling on them one at a time. She was reluctant to call upon little Johnnie, knowing that he sometimes could be a bit crude. But eventually his turn came.

Little Johnnie walked up to the front of the class, and with a piece of chalk, made a small white dot on the blackboard, then sat back down. Well the teacher couldn't figure out what Johnnie had in mind for his report, so she asked him just what that was.

"It's a period," reported Johnnie. "Well I can see that," she said, "but what is so exciting about a period."

"Damned if I know," said Johnnie, "but this morning my sister said she missed one. Then Daddy had a heart attack, Mommy fainted and the man next door shot himself."

my gf and i are breaking up after 2 yrs of ups and dwns. Since day 1 shes always gone back and forth, if she wants a relationship or not. We love each other very much and are 29 and 28.
She is in a stage now whr she cant give herslf into a one and it has mostly been me pulling the weight for a while. when weve spoken about it, even this week, she said she would meet me half way, and we made plans for trips, weekends-etc.
then she started to blow me off, and has gone into a complete withdrawl from me.
we have always had an amazing time 2gether, but relationshipwise shes immature and self centered and its not healthy 4 me to be in this with her instability.
She said she's drained & has a lot going on in her life with a hard job, grad school and she recently started seeing a psychologist to deal with her issues.
we are going to have a talk about breaking up 2day and im wondering if i give it a month or a few months, is there any chance to try a fresh start, or is ths ovr 4 good?

Seriously, He has been picking on me since 4th or 5th grade and him and his friends used to call me Corndog Girl all the time up until I told the principal. Now they just see me often out in the street on a walk or bike ride.
But the thing is he talks about me like I'm a piece of dirt. He says I'm ugly and fat and need to take diet pills instead of eating and also that I need Proactive. He calls me hunchback.
As revenge for breaking my heart, I took a broken head set off the street and threw it in his yard trying to send him that message. The next day at school his friend told me that Kyle was going to bash my face in. So I stayed home that night.
At the football game he saw me hanging with the seniors and was behind me trying to get my attention. I just looked at him with a smile and shook my head.
The only reason why I was with the seniors is b/c one of them caught me crying behind a shed. Kyle already has a girlfriend and I just don't get why boys are always hurting my feelings.

Can i trust this girl for finding a new man she says that she couldn't handle the loneliness. On the other hand i left her 6 months ago. I feel terrible about it and ive just realised what she means that I’m emotionally selfish.I left her when I was having anxiety facing joining the real world after being sick for a long time. (didn't want to leave the house, sleep with her or be loving) I did panic but I wasn't bad to her i just got caught up in my self. I've been giving her excuses recently rather than saying I was sorry. After i found out she was with another guy i gave out to her over txts and she asked if we had a chance. I said no but then turned and started begging. She says she still loves and misses me but she has a wall up now. She is still thinking about it and wants to meet as friends. The more woosie ive been the further she seems, its like she keeps hiding her emotions. I don’t know how girls feel when this scorned or what to do? I didnt deal with any emotions until now.

This guy is really nice. From our first date, he keeps in touch. He used to call me and send me messages just to know my activities and to know me more also i think. When he knew that i didnt get enough sleep because of him he said he will stop having conversation with me then telling me that he is kidding. I tod him that i think he is not thinking of me so i will stop on what we were doing. so i didnt sent him a message after that. I thought he really mean what i said, coz i didnt get any message from him also. But after an hour, he called me clarifying if what i have said is true. so u think he really likes me. do u think he is only playing with me or he is true with his feelings? what will i do to know what is his real intention to me...We are not that young anymore...

I've been out trying to find a girlfriend, and it seems like every one that I ask wanted to be just friends. Im not talking about after just meeting them and all, its after a few times of seeing each other and I work up the nerve to ask. After becoming just friends, i can never work myself out of being "just friends". Saturday morning I finally learned something new and valuable about Love, and I've been processing it all day.

Bluntly put, here it is:

If I love too completely, too selflessly, with too pure an intention, with too whole a heart...then those who receive it and try to return it end up feeling inadequate because what they give (and why they give) doesn't measure up in their eyes to what they receive. Although they may try to improve what they give, in the end their feelings of inadequacy are too much for their ego and sense of security within the relationship: they end up feeling they need my love more than I need theirs.

Instead of finding a balance between the love given and the love received, they feel they are receiving far more than they are giving or indeed can give. This feeling of hopeless inadequacy leads them to walk/run away.
