During winter, last year I had to wait for the bus at school, and my face almost got frostbite. This year I'm going to go for the biblical look, and I would like to know if I'm killing my chances with the girls by protecting my face during the harsh winter.

My boyfriend is moving to the other side of the country and I'm devistated. He's been offered a great job far away. He's determined to make the long distance relationship work and says he'll fly over to see me at least once a month. We've been best friends for a year and have been in a romantic relationship for about 4 months. He says he sees a long future to our relationship, maybe marriage and starting a family. I don't know how to cope with his leaving. I've never been in a relationship before with someone that I've cared about so deeply and now he's leaving. I feel like I need to be supportive and congradulate him on his new job. I just feel so sad and I feel like he's abandoning me even though he says that he wants to do everything possible to make this work.

I can't stop crying. I also feel angry at him, though I won't tell him this. I don't know how to emotionally pull myself together and go through my daily routine. I'm a teacher and a graduate student.

I met this guy who is 24 years older than me and he's not my type at ALL. I told myself I was just going to be friends with him but I'm feeling more for him. Last night was the first time I went out with him. I didn't think of it as a date just going out with a friend. Before the night was over I was in his arms and he kissed me on the lips. OK. I've had a crush on a girl forever now and I just sent her a couple of emails. The hotmail email I sent her bounced back and she never responded to the other email I sent her. We go to the same college and I've walked right by her a few times and we just stared at eachother. Today I saw her in her office and I waved to her and she smiled and waved back. What is going on here? First she doesn't respond to my emails, then she just glares at me when she walks by me, and now she is smiling and waving at me. When is this game going to end? had fun.(both in late 30s) 2 more dates ea 1 was because she called him. He said that he wanted her to call.in fact said "I am just so busy, please do not stop calling".She said "no strings" if you decide that you dont want to see me please be honest,I do not play games and I dont expect games. he promised no games. She would call him prob 4 times to his once. He was a philosophy major in school, got his bachelor's, & was mostly through his masters when he decided that field wasn't for him. He left school 3 years ago, and has worked some temp jobs, been a manager at Autozone, and is now--according to his his own description--a glorified delivery man.
He tried paralegal school for a year, & decided that wasn't for him either. He just turned 34.
To me, it seems that in 3 years he should have a game plan, but he doesn't. He wants to change careers, but doesn't know what he wants to do.
I am becoming less & less attracted to him because I want more of an "alpha male": Someone who see's what needs to be done, and does it.
However, I have been accused in the past of having standards that are too high.

What do y'all think?
