ok so this guy asked me out and we're now officially bf and gf. but we're both really shy and i want him to hold my hand. how do i get him to do that? should i hold his hand first? what if he doesnt want to hold hands............. HELP ME!!!

The next time you are sitting down next to him put your hand on the couch between the two of you with your palm up. Make sure he knows it's there by "accidentally" touching his leg. OR the next time you are walking down the stairs next to him ask him to take your hand to steady you because you feel a little light headed. He doesn't need to know that you're light headed over him.

Heres what I think u should do. Try giving him hints or just ask your friend to like tell him what u want him to do. If he doesn't want to hold hands then try to make him regret that he ever said no!!! Or just write him a note!!! Look I've been on a date like this before the easiest way to go is send him a note & get to know him a lot better I'm sure you'll come through and youll break over your shyness problem!!

This is your typical middle school dating scene. It's new its exciting and its scary all at once. Just be yourself and dont spend 100% of your time with one another worrying about holding hands or not, just be the best of friends you can be and enjoy one anothers company. Love is found through being close and comftorable with one another and just clicking naturally together. Just dont take it to serious your young and there's alot more going on down your road. But BE SAFE No matter what and have fun.

Trust me any guy wants to hold his gf's hand or even kiss her...some guys are honestly just too shy. If you make the first move he will appreciate it.

take a chance and hold his hand, that's the only way you're ever going to know if that's what he wants too or not. let him know that if he doesn't want to hold hands, he should tell you. you guys should be able to tell each other things if you want your relationship to have any depth.

Hello. First you are putting way too much pressure on yourself and him. That pressure began as soon as you guys said official bf/gf. Do not conform to today's standards of dating. Let us pretend there is not first base, second base, so on and so fourth. We need not force any issue, physical contact, or committed relationship. i used to be shy so i took acting classes. I'm not shy anymore.
Remeber you won't get what you want being shy ? Go after what you want dear. Or you might regret it.

relax, and try to get over ur shyness. i bet that he wants to hold your hand as much as you want to hold his. so go for it! next time you're with him, playfully hold his hand and smile. chances are that he'll smile back. don't worry.
