King Kong was a very good remake.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre was horrible.
The revamp of Batman was really good.
Can't wait to see Batman Begins 2.

lord of the rings. the 3rd one ruled and the 2nd on sucked but the 1st was ok. also Scary Movies. 4th is the best, then 1st, then 3rd, then 2nd

Chicago! Remake of Roxie Hart(1942). Roxie Hart is not a musical, but both movies are great!

Tarzan - the original original was really bad - in fact I don't think most people even remember that there was one that far back, then Johnny Weismueller's Tarzan was much better - classics.

Out of all that I have seen, and its not really better but close, is the War of the worlds movie. If Tom Cruise wasn't in it, it may have been better.
