I met this awesome guy at school but i find out he has a gf that he just ended it with! he told her he needs a break to do some "soul searching" but him and i have been hanging out now and i really like him! He was over at my house on Sunday night and the ex showed up at my house cuz she had followed him over there and was cussing at him and saying stuff about she thought he wanted a break and not to see others. Well he lied to her about where he was but he also lied to me cuz he had dinner with her the night we hung out to discuss some money she owed him. I know it sounds like a messed up situation but how can I pursue this without getting hurt? And whats the best way to start something but not be so nervous about getting involved. Im just afraid hes going to hurt me- but i really do like him! Oh and im 22 and hes 23

I'm waiting for my guy to ask me back. We broke up about 2 weeks ago b/c he thinks I'm too clingy. I stopped contacting him in any way 3 days ago. He's kind of shy, not really popular with girls. I was his 1st gf in his 21 years and we've been together for 9 months. But he has a lot to do, coursework, house duties, etc. So even without a gf he is almost always occupied. I just wonder how long would it take for a guy like that to want me back if he ever wants to take me back?

So I've given in and gotten a myspace account recently. I feel that it's an easy and acceptable way to meet cool girls in my area. For those that don't know, you can search girls within a specified distance of your house. It's also nice because you can can find out as much or as little as they make available on their site. Then I usually send them a message? Any advice on what types of messages work the best to get them to respond and potentially go on a date with me?

my girlfriend and me broke up about a month ago or so,because me and her mom got into it. we talked for the first time 3 days ago,
she couldnt talk cause she was at work,.but we chatted for a little bit she broke down crying telling me how much she misses me and thinks about me....she is 6-7 months pregnant with my kid and she feels its over because of everthing that happened with her mom and me,.she told me she loves me and wants to be with me but she just doesnt know how to go about this with her family,...i just want to know a good gesture to do ,(for my ex) send flowers,..or something...but i dont just want to pop up ,..any suggestions?

I started talking to this guy a few months ago. I met him thru a friend of mine (they are related). We had been doing fine, although this is a long distance relationship, then he didn't call for a few days. When I finally caught up with him, I asked him why he was breaking up with me without telling me. I told him that if that is what is going on, just be honest with me. I hate mess. He assured me that that wasn't the case, but that some things had been going on that was taking a lot of his time and stressing him. We talked for a few days and while I our conversation wasn't long, it was still meaningful. He was still assuring me that he wasn't going anywhere, we were going to be together. I haven't heard from him in two weeks. I would have preferred him tell me the truth two weeks ago, because I hurt and am PISSED because I put hope in a liar. I had no reason to doubt him until recently. Any thoughts???

someone keeps telling me how "beautiful" I am.... I always say thank you. He is very insistent that I believe him, but I have serious negative body image issues. A polite thank you dosen't satisfy him and when he pushes the issue it makes me upset. I've tried to explain my problem, but he seems set on making me think I'm beautiful. I don't think he can change 33 years of negative thinking. Any ideas how I can get him to stop trying or at least compromise so I don't get so upset???

We broke up 2 weeks ago. She dumped me and was a witch about everything acting like I was the one that did the breaking up. So I told her this week I couldnt take her crap anymore and I left didnt call didnt talk to her at all. Yesterday she begged me to talk to her and so I did and she begged me not go cuz she was going crazy witthout me and she said she loves me so much and I shouldnt go, but I did anyways. Was that the right thing to do? Was I wrong? What should I do?
