So I've been on 3 dates with a guy I like. I know he likes to take things slow (he told me in a conversation that he liked me and enjoys spending time with me, but that he doesn't fall in love fast and wanted to see where this goes). Fine, I'm a patient person, I can live with that.

But I'm used to at least figuring out where I stand after 3 dates-whether I'm in a potential relationship or am I in what I like to call "the friend zone."

So my question for the guys is that if you really like and respect a girl, do you normally wait until date #4 to make a move, or would you have done so by now?

Ok, so my girlfriend left to goto California to visit family yesterday, and today is the first day we havent seen eachother since we have been going out. I've been trying to think of something special to do for her or get her for when she gets back on Monday. Before she left yesterday she window chalked my car and wrote hearts on it and it said i love you and i'll miss you on the windows... lol. I dont really have any sweet ideas of something to get her or do for her when she gets back and i really want to do something special. HELP

Now it is obvious, she doesnt want to be more than friends, but my question is, is that because she is scared( she doesnt want to ruin the frienship,) or because she just doesnt like me

Now, I am respecting her decision, and we havent spoken about it for 3 weeks. The last thing I want to do is smother her, so I am giving her every inch of space she needs. But 3 months ago, she really really seemed to like me, than when she found out I liked her she backed off. And now she's like that with other guys. But once we talked about it, she seems more comfortable talking to me, than she did before. Her and her mom are really really close, and her mom said she is just REALLY REALLY scared. Her mom wants me to date her daughter, she told me that. So I know I am good with ther parents, what should I do??

i asked him on this past tuesday. we're still talking but as time goes on, my hope that he'll say yes is fleeting. people say that he is going to say yes but who really knows. and he hasn't been acting weird around me. idk, maybe he is telling the truth although i've used that line before when a guy asked me. for me, that means he wants to see what his friends think about us going. we're not the best of friends. just a guy i met when we played sports together and we now talk now and then. advice?

I was broken up with by my boyfriend and chose to move on and force myself to date and meet new people. My ex wants to come back to me and I told him bout the dates I went on and he is angry. He was apart from me for 2 or 3 weeks and swears he never cheated that he just needed a break from the fighting but I know he tells people that we are not together. I really like this guy I work with and we went out a couple of times as friends. We were both definetly flirting but now I don't know whether to just continue playfully flirting with him or tell him that I like him.
