So I've been on 3 dates with a guy I like. I know he likes to take things slow (he told me in a conversation that he liked me and enjoys spending time with me, but that he doesn't fall in love fast and wanted to see where this goes). Fine, I'm a patient person, I can live with that.

But I'm used to at least figuring out where I stand after 3 dates-whether I'm in a potential relationship or am I in what I like to call "the friend zone."

So my question for the guys is that if you really like and respect a girl, do you normally wait until date #4 to make a move, or would you have done so by now?

Thanks!

I know you say for guys only, but I am going to try and answer this. my husband, when we were dating, waited until date 3 to ASK Me if he could kiss me.. He was scared that I didnt like him back so he wasn't sure if he should make a move. It was sweet and then I finally had to take change after a few months and tell him I loved him, then he was all like wow, I love you too, I have for awhile, just didn't know how to say it. Why don't you be bold and make a move first, he might really enjoy that and atleast then you will know where you stand.

Why are you compelled to call it anything. Don't feel obligated to pin some hackenyed label on something, just accept for what it is and enjoy each other's company. If the dynamic changes, you'll know it. Relax, and enjoy. This person is different from anyone else you've gone out with just as they were (and probably still are) different from each other. Trying to label anyone or your relationships with anyone suggests a set of expectations to try to live up to; then you're in trouble. When you have expectations, you will almost always be disapointed. Take it at face valueand appreciate it for what it is, not what you think it should be. There's all kinds of time to figure out if the dynamic will or should change.

If you're having fun don't rock the boat. Who cares where the relationship is going?

If you're not having fun, then get out and move on.

What kind of move , kiss, grab your @ss and tell I love you if you give it to me.
Is strait man, very secure about both fillings - is no any measure of time to make something faster - depends of feelings.

If I "really" like her, I get it over with on the first date.
