I just read a question from some guy who considered himself as god's gift to women who was lamenting why someone as goodlooking, successful, church-going, and generally wonderful as himself keeps getting fixed up through dating services with "fat girls". Which led me to wonder why it is that a guy is willing to put up with girls with the personality of a grizzly bear, or the face of a musk ox, but god forbid she be sporting a few extra pounds. Take Sarah Jessica Parker for example- horsey face- yet everyone says she is soooo hot- yet how many people DOG women like Oprah who have pretty faces but not so great bodies... what gives???

I met this amazing guy, online of all places. We hit it off right off the bat. He lives in another state but came out in May and we just hung out all the time. He was just the nicest guy I've met in a long time and we have TONS of things in common. We even became bf and gf while he was here. we didn't have sex cause he was only here for a week and we were so busy enjoying the sites and each others time. He went home and we talked everyday for a week online and the phone....Now I haven't heard from him in 3weeks.

I don't know what happened. Everything seemed to be going well, and he just left, and now i'm lost? Should i let go? keep hope alive? what? someone please help!

The truth is im really depressed and hurt. He cheated on me and i dont want him back but im still so hurt by what he did to me. We are going back to college in a week and half and we hang out with the same people. I know this sounds stupid but i want to show him that i am better off without him and happy. My black sister and her Indian friend are falling for each other but the problem is they are from totaly different backgrounds and cultures. I have had one boyfriend in my life, 2 months ago we broke up. i asked this guy who made me stood up for him in our supposed-to-be-date.
