my girlfriend and i had sex for the first time.
after it she just kept crying. she said she doesn't know why she was crying. i don't know what was wrong. i want to know. but she says she doesn't know. she just cried and couldn't stop. please help! i'm worried about her.

sometimes a young girl will feel dirty all of a sudden for doing anything sexual. it's weird, cuz u think u want it, but when ur doing it and afterwards, BAM ur like "OH NO what did i doooooo" and feel really horrible about yourself. please, do ur best to Love her, make her feel that you love, appreciate, admire, respect, and want to be with her, and THAT'S why you are having sex... not because it's purely physical, or because you are using her. obviously u do care cuz you are worried... it happens sometimes, and it goes away.. it's just she was probably really pure and a typically "good girl", and was curious about sex but when she did it, it just felt...wrong. so encourage her to talk with you and be close w/ you, and make her feel safe and loved.... don't push her to do it again, let her initiate.... slowly it will go away once she learns to trust herself and trust you.

It's just very emotional. A lot of women do this when they lose their virginity or have sex with a new love for the first time. They also do it when the session has been very emotionally intense. She should be OK, but if it continues to happen, ask her why. Good luck.

I stil cry sometimes. Just the physical and emotional closeness and exertion sometimes just leaves a woman feeling that way. Plus if it was her first time, well maybe it hurt or she felt a loss.

she was probably a little sad about losing her virginity. its something you can't get back. for some people its like the loss of innocence or something
