Singles & Dating - 31 July 2006

The close friends I have now are all people who are bookish and content with the friends they have now. They're great friends, but I'd like to have other types of people as friends, also. I get along easily with loners or outsiders. I'm trying to be more social and fit into new groups better and I think the best way is for me to meet and hang out with social people. But, social people don't respond well to me. There seems to be unspoken litmus test that I'm not passing. The types of people I want to hang out with aren't into me.

Could it be something as simple as me speaking up more whenever I'm hanging out?

my bf of 2 years is acting pretty weird. when we're on the phone he has NOTHING to say.. he doesn't call me back when i call him or leave a message, he never sounds to happy to hear from me, and its really getting to me. my aunts wedding is this sat and the following day im going on vacation and he hasn't even tried to make time and come and see me. in his words.... "we've been apart longer then this, I'll just see you when you get back, it doesn't matter? whats with him. I end up going to sleep without hearing i love you or a goodnight frm him so many nights.. what should i do ?

i hurt her but never knew i had a problem i seek help and now i have improve my life i am taking anger management counseling in palm beach and it has help me alot, i still keep in contact with my x gf, but when i try to get close she pushes me away, when she finds out i m having fun and meeting other women she gets jeolous and hangs up the phone on me or when i go on trips she sends me nice things. but she never calls me i m always calling her what i dont understand when i call her she is always happy to hear from me and never wants to get off the phone always asking me when will i call her again, asking many personal questions like she still my girl
my friends tell many things, they say she either scare to come back to you becuase of what u put her thru
other says she s playing games with u becuase she doesnt want u but doesnt want anyone to have you
what do you ?????? help me out cuz i dont know what to do but i will like a second chance to make it better

right now i'm currently in a play. i think this guy who's also in it - let's call him Tim - likes me. i'm not sure though. last rehearsal we talked backstage for a while and then towards the end of rehearsal we were all asked to sit in the audience and Tim sat next to me. when i told him i like the texas longhorns, he said they were his favorite college team too and he told jokes when we talked. i like him a lot. does he like me? and more importantly, what should i do so that he'll ask me out?

Okay, so...story -

While leaving on a date friday night, my date was walking a bit in front of me as we left my house. My neighbor, Tony, was standing in my breezeway talking to someone. I walked by him and he grabbed my hand and kissed it. I was caught a bit off guard, but just laughed and said "Tony, what are you doin'?" playfully. He just smiled at me. My date didn't see it.

I met a guy through a dating service. We seemed to hit it off. We went to lunch, talked the entire time, and he didn't want it to end and asked if we could go somewhere and talk. We went to my place, talked some more, and then went to a bbq with some friends of mine. He seemed to have fun and got along well with my friends. He asked if I would sit close with him so he could put his arms around me. We hugged goodbye. He had to work the next day but he called me after he got home to ask if I could come over. He started to make the moves on me again, and we ended up having sex. He wanted me to stay over, so I did. I left in the morning when he went to work, and he said he'd call. That was 10 days ago and no call. I txtd him to ask how he was after 3 days, and he answered that he was tired. That was it. We've been in contact with eachother for about 9months a i recently went to Germany for school, and while i was there i got to meet her. I really like her alot but seeing as we are both in highschool still i dont know if i should terll her how i feel. I think about her alot. We have almost everything in common and talk for hours literally every chance we get via InstantMessageing. Ive invited her over next summer to stay for two weeks and she dosent know if she can yet. I think that she has the same thoughts about me as i do her, she's is maybe a littler more mature than I though; but i can find no excuse to deny our mutual feelings. But these feelings go unsaid because i suppose we know we cant be together anytime soon, but wouldnt it be great if we did end up together one day?we each tell eachother how happy we are that we are friends, she even told me that she loved me, in a friendly way; but maybe it was more, Should i tell her that i want to one day be more than just friends?
