I am crazy over one of my guy friends that goes to school with me. He is moving to New York after this summer, so I emailed him asking if he wanted to hang out sometime before he left. He emailed me back saying "That would be awesome" and asked for my number. I emailed him back and now I am waiting. I emailed him nine days ago. How long should it take him to call or email me back and why has it taken so long?

A thousand years makes up 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the total age of the Earth, since the Earth is approxiamtely Many millions to a billion years old. If it wasnt for global warming, the ice sheets that covered the northern hemisphere would never have melted!!

I am a 23 yr. old single mother and I have been dating a really great guy for a little over a year, but I just don't seem to have those "love" feelings towards him. I love him as a person and as a companion but I am not in love w/ him. He is the greatest guy I have ever met and he treats me like gold, but what is more is the fact that he adores my son. We have lived together for about 6 mos. and we get along great but I still wonder if I am being unfair or possible cruely to him. The problem is that I know that I will always be IN love w/ my son's father even though I know we will NEVER work, and we have nothing to do w/ each other. So my question is this: is it possible to spend your life with someone that you love (as a companion), admire, respect, and adore but you don't have the rushing LOVE feeling towards?

My friend wants me to ask you guys this question, thanks:

I have been dating a guy very casually for about a month and a half. I say very casually because we only see each other once a week or less. We have different work schedules and both have stressful lives. I have two kids and work 40 hours a week. He is working 70+ hours, 6 days a week. He is looking for a job where we could have more quality time together. We have agreed to take things slowly (i.e. no sex). We think about each other all day. We both have confessed how much we love each other. I had no idea that a love like this could exist.

I would love to talk to him everyday, just to see how his day went, but I don't want to nag him. We haven't talked in four days, as he told me that he would call me. He has mild depression and is shy, he also gets embarrassed easily.

How can we keep our relationship going? I don't want to smother him. I think that he is “the one”.

But we do have a very close relationship. He has been very supportive of me when my husband passed away a few years back, and he is like a brother to me. We hang out and spend alot of time together. We even take trips together. He has a girlfriend, and she has no problem with this. The man I am currently seeing, does not believe a man and woman can have a relationship like this without sex being involved. Therefore, he gets very jeolouse when I spend any time with my male friend, or with his family (whom I am also very close to). When a situation comes up that I am doing something with my friend, or with his family, the guy that I am dating gets upset and will go out with his ex-girlfriend(whom he has had romantic involvement). I feel he is using her to control me. He says if he's not going to spend time with me, then he will with someone, and he needs a back up girlfriend just in case. Should this attitude he has bother me? Should I give up the friendship I have?

My boyfriend and I have been going out since June 10th. He calls every other day. When he says he will call me back he never dose until the next day or the day after. He acts as if he dosent want to see me. I feel like he dosent like me anymore or what. Can you help me or tell me what tha heck is going on.
