lol, sorry i know that shouldn't be funny, but i found that image quite amusing. On a more serious note, maybe you should just not say love yet. as much as you may want to. What you should do is do things that'll make her want to say it to you. Like surprising her with a trip the place that she's always wanted to go to. Or something like that. Good luck.

just talk to her and tell her that you want to tell her the three words but that you are afraid that she will run away. tell her that if the relationship is going to move up at all if it is ever going to be able to become anything that both of you need to be able to trust eachother, be able to talk about things like this. tell her that you are there and that you want to help her not be scared, find out what is making her scared of those words in the first place, tell her that you are there 100% to helping her figure this out. if it does not work with her and she dont want to do it at all not even go to a counselor then she has to know that you two wont be able to go any further in the relationship that the situation is hurting you two and you might have to re think things. good luck, be supportive as long as she is trying.

she is scared of commitment and having the same feelings,I would tell her how you feel and if she runs she runs life to me is too short to not love someone or be able to tell someone that you love them.To me if you plan on having a relationship with this woman and it progressing to another level and want more you will have to wait and see what she does she might run for awhile but if she does truly love you and everything is good in your relationship she will be back love to me is the best thing a person could have with someone so why run good luck to you

I had to stop saying for a while for the same reason. then i used other ways of expressing feelings like sending flowers to her work and telling her how i think of her all the time and how i like that she always has pleasant breath and a great attitude and nice **** (or other body parts) and i like the freckles on her nose and sending text messages to her to say "hi i'm thinking of you" and so on. chicks seem to dig simple things that let them know you are thinking of them. the next thing you know she will be ripping off your pants in a fit of passion.
unless she already does that. then in that case she may be a "hoochy" who only wants a swift rogering rather than love anyway. whatever the case, i wish you good luck.

I think the bigger is issue is why she's running away, but since that's not your question...
How about just showing how much you love her. If she doesn't want you to say it, they show your love by acknowledgeing her wish.

If you've used it before and didn't get a positive reaction, then don't force it. She knows how you feel...remind her with gestures and affection and attention. When she's able to say the word to you, you'll know it's okay to reply in kind.

Do something sweet... my friend once made his girlfriend a cake and decorated it like the earth and gave it to her saying "I wanted to give you the world, but the best I could do was this cake" or something corny but cute like that...
Girls LIKE stupid things that... you don't have to say the word "love" but it gets across your feelings.

You can say 'I love you' with a smile, a touch, small tokens (a rose), and in a million ways. But be careful in pursuing someone who is afraid to love, maybe it's commitment that's scaring her.
