after knowing each other all through high school, we finally hooked up five years later. we live together, he's told me he loves me and even made little comments about "when we get married" even though he hasn't asked. then suddenly last night he said he's moving back to his moms and he thought we moved too fast and he thinks he needs to be single for a while. he packed his things but then totally "made out" with me and spent the night, he said he would see me tonight when i left for work this morning. WTF is going on? is he scared or is there annother woman?

Why do people preach about 'Oh, beauty is on the inside, physical appearance is not important.'

I call bullsh!t on that. You don't date or continue a relationship with someone you are not physically attracted to.

So please prove me wrong. With 100% honesty, who has dated someone based on mental characteristics alone.

My boyfriend is in a bowling league which he goes to every Friday night. There's a girl there who constantly flirts with him. It started out as joking/sharing interests. The second time we went, I noticed that she touched his arm for no reason. The third time we were there she playfully pushed him. The flirting is getting much worse (on her end) but on the other hand he loves the attention & does nothing to stop her. It really bothers me when she touches him. When she does he usually comes over and hugs/kisses me, but I feel like he only does that so he can continue flirting without me getting mad. It also bothers me that they have so much in common while me and my boyfriend are very different. He's always said that that's what he loves about me (I'm unlike any girl he's ever dated) but I feel like the fact that they have common interests is something I can't compete with. I refuse to compete for his attention, but it's breaking my heart to see this....what do you guys think?

When ever I think about my ex (often daily) or someone talks about her I skip a heat beat. I sometimes fantasise being with my ex, but like I say I love my girl and I fancy her like mad. My ex was difficult to get on with at times. I'm 25. What do you think? Am I a bad person, do I love my girl any less?

thanx for reading this.. the woman i am dating now has a male friend she enjoys going places with . they sometimes spend the night together .. no sex she assures me....while she is away i like hanging out with an ex g/f but my current girlfriend gets upset abouit that cause she is afraid we will have sex .... so should i stop seeing my ex while my current is away with her friend ?

whenever a female takes one look at me, she runs off in disgust. women pick up their walking pace when they see me out in public; they immediately move away if i sit next to them at bars, on buses/trains, or anywhere for that matter; and they always give me angry/disgusted looks if they haven't turned their heads in another direction. i have good hygiene, i don't smell, i don't dress like a bum, so why do women find me so repulsive? i'm a good person who has never done any harm to anybody. what did i do to deserve this harsh treatment?

i see females flirting on guys all the time, yet no one wants to even get near me. my self-esteem has taking a beating over the years, and right now i'm psychologically crippled with little hope of recovery.

and don't even say that i'm "generalizing." i have had these experiences with 100% of the female population. they give me the same sh!tty attitudes all over the country: in cali, in denver, in chicago, in ny, down south, in my hometown, etc.

... I knew it all, but I need help!
This guy I have been seeing for the past 8months now, is just really starting to piss me off. All we ever talk about is work, friends, family and the latest movie/T.V series we have watched. His really nice to me though, but kinda in a childish way. E.G He says I love you to me heaps, but in a silly, kiddy tone. Helps me mind my Nephews, wants to see me every night, but we don't talk about anything in depth. He rarely takes me any where new.... 95% of the time we are at his place or mine, or in junction between the two. We are usually at his place (Gosh.... now I'm starting to get embarrased) and well.... he lives in his parents garage. His nearly 24, and it's a pretty cool room now..... that's since last weekend when I helped him clean it out, move furniture around and I even defrosted his fridge. I see him every night of the week, and we eat dinner with his family.... which his mum cooks, no-one helps her out.
Should I stay or go?

The lady of my dreams comes over to my home last night. I'm in love with her and I was very happy. This past Thursday her cat of years passed away. While on the phone she was crying and upset because she loved her cat so much. Yesterday I went and bought a kitten for her and surprised her with the kitten. She came over last night and we had a great time except everyone was worried about her and kept calling. When she went to leave I held her in my arms for a long, long time. I tried to kiss her and she turned her head. I didn't get hurt and I'm only thinking that she may not be ready to take our relationship to the next level. As she was leaving my home I mistakenly blurted out I love you and then I said sorry I didn't mean for that to come out. She replied no thats alright. My question is even though we are held each other for a couple of minutes why do you think she didn't want to kiss me? I feel she is in love with me but this relationship is very new for both of us.
