Singles & Dating - 9 June 2006

I have a problem with this, I play basketball which I am VERY good at it. I am a point gaurd, and practice alot. The point is that I really like this one guy and he is soooooooooo hot!! he is really good to, and he graduated last year and I would always see him at tournaments and the street courts. He knows me because I am a really good baller, one time I schooled him and he told me he gave me his best. So he gave me his number and he always e-mails me and he texts me back and gives me pretty long hugs, we would text each other all night. I really like him but I want him to know that. So should I tell him or should I just keep it cool and wait???

School is out, and I'm starting 7th grade in July. 7th grade will be my first grade in middle school because in my district, 6th is in Elementary. Luckly, my whole class in going too, and the girl I have a crush on is in my class. For me, it seems impossible she will like me. I don't want to ask for her phone because she'll know I'll like her. And I'm shy in the class, and my class is kind of crazy when there is a "couple". What should I do?!

She was a student at the language school I work in. I told her my feelings, but she did not want a relationship with me, though sometimes she seemed attracted, others she ignored me, but got worried if I ignored her too. As she was going back to her country today I ordered flowers to be delivered to her at the school (without letting anyone know I was behind it). She was delighted at this anonymous present and showed them to everyone. When she read my card where I said she was fascinating and wishing I had known her better, but asking for nothing, she seemed a bit amused, a bit annoyed. She did not thank me, but instead gave me a present too, a book. Later she tried to ignore me, but smiled when I asked her to write me something in the book. She left with the flowers in her hand, but said goodbye to me rather formally. I don't expect to find her on my doorstep tonight, but I wonder just what effect my gift had. How would one of you girls have reacted? What's this indifference of hers?

I moved schools two years ago and since I came to my new school, everyone treats me as if Im retarded or something because I'm shy. None of the boys I like like me back and I have only one real friend. The only reason people actually acknowledge my presence is because I have a good singing voice( at least better than average). In my country it is the sign of a bad character if you have sex before u get married or even the fact you have a boyfriend is soo frowned upon...do i just go ahead and defy all traditions or just honour them. how many of you have heard on the news some time ago about the girl who got murdered for meeting someone she met on myspace? and how people are saying to erase your myspace accounts and never go on there again and how myspace should be banned and all this stuff? honestly yes its tragic that that happened to her and im not saying it was right that it happened also.
