my bf i met on answers. it's going great. other guys i've met online....and we went out for a while. so i'm not opposed to meeting someone online as long as you know in time you'll meet each other. it IS possible to fall in love this way. :)

I met someone over a year ago online, we e-mailed each other then lost contact and 4 months later started chatting and talking on the phone, met in person about 9 months ago. We go out, have a lot of fun together and I stay at his place when I get a chance. He's really good to me. Just hoping things will last and hopefully, he will be the one.

Yes. He broke my heart. Met him through Instant Messenger. Talked on-line and on the phone for five months and then I flew to England to meet him. I thought I knew him so well but it turned out he lied about SO many things he had told me. Even then I would have followed him to the ends of the earth but he said although I was sweet, he just didn't feel "that way" about me. Ended up running off with another woman he knew long ago and found again via the internet and I haven't heard from him since. Took me a long, long time to get over him and I'm still not completely sure I am. I really felt he was my soul mate and he used me.

Met a man in a chat room, we talked alot online then on the phone. One night while I was at work on the third shift, I called my answering machine and he was in town, I picked him up in the am and after a few months we got married. Married for 1& 1/2 years and he turned out to be a person I would never want to be with again! So becareful whatever you do!

Met him online about 3 years ago...it started as a crush sor of thing and then turned to a good friendship. but he is still to shy to do more than chat by emails from the group we are in and on a game we play together. And we only live two hours fromeach other.

Yes and thank god I did. Met up with a man I used to go to school with online - am married to him now and have a four year old.
It can work out, as you can (if you are both completely honest) learn alot about each other prior to meeting up in the real world. But there are times when it goes wrong.
It did work for me and I couldn't be happier.

I met her on a gaming site. We talked for about 8 months everynight. I knew I loved her, & she said she loved me. We had talking about getting married when we were older & stuff like that. Then one day I went to email her, it said her account had been deleted, & I"ve never talked to her again. That was a year ago. IT broke my heart alot. I still think of her alot too. So I'm talking to another girl right now we've been talking since the beginning of January...but I'm trying not to fall in love like I did with the other girl, because if my heart gets broke again I don't know what I will do.

I just met a guy from online. Found out he lives like 2 minutes from me on the next street over. I don't think that theres a better guy out there for me. He is really amazing. But how he feels about me. well i really don't know. its still all new. but i have lots of hope.
