I've only been officially going out with my boyfriend for just under a month, before which we were sort of seeing each other for a few weeks and known each other since august as friends. I knew from the begininning that he had a pregnant ex girlfriend who was 'supposedly' pregnant with his child. He only went out with this woman for three months and the only way the baby could ever be his is if it had been concieved the first time they slept together (she told him she was on the pill) after he found out she was pregnant he stuck with her for a few weeks but her psychotic behaviour caused him to break up with her. Before you ask, I'm not seeing him through rose tinted specs- all his friends ,who I also know, (including my sister) knew what she was like aswell. Anyway even though they dont get along he has always believed the baby was his even though all his friends have said to each other they don't think the baby's his (could have said something to him!!) anyway, the baby's been born

I'm out with a guy friend. This night he asks me to meet him to discuss maybe having a possible relationship. Said the bar is not the appropriate place to discuss it. I'm thinking, this is great. Respect, consideration etc. Then as he is talking to me, a girl walks past with a backless jumper on her and he looks her up and down. Bang! I feel terrible, like all the intensity of what he was saying was an act. Generally I have noticed that when he is nervous or with men, his eyes jump from one woman to another. I thought it was a macho thing with blokes to cover his nerves in social situations. This was a shock though. I mean he was totally intense with me, we also have been mates for years so I would not expect him to disrespect me like that. Why come on so strong and then gawp at another woman as she passed? Is this normal or should I be offended?
