Perhaps he has a low sex drive or just isn't looking for a relationship now. I'd rather that than someone sleeping with loads of different people all the time. I understand what your saying though, I couldn't go that long my sex drive is high.

People can go for many years without sex. He may be gay and he may not. His sexuality activity is his choice. If he is okay with it, then it is normal. Who defines normal anyway?

Yes it's normal if he's not with anyone. Not everyone wants to have intercourse with someone there not dating or in relationship with. If he's ok with it then leave him be.

He seems ok with it. Some guys do - some guys are even still virgins at 35, if it isn't a problem for them it shouldn't be problem for us.

I think this is fine. Maybe he's holding out until he gets married, or married again, depending on his situation. I think it's commendable, and I think you should follow his example.

i did not have sex for three years when i split with my ex and i did not want it or even think about it and i have a very high sex drive
but sex is not everything
