It has not happened with me . In India, dead bodies are cremated in firewood..It appeared in newspapers that when the funeral services of late Shri Narasingha Rao ,ex Prime Minister of India, was conducted, a large number of very high level persons gathered in Hydrabad to pay their homage. They put sandal wood over the body to cremate it. After they left, thieves pulled out half burnt sandal wood pieces. It is a very costly wood.It came to notice after a couple of hours and their kins rushed to put in more wood in the pier to complete the burning. It was a very sad event for me.The incident was repulsive for me.
