I work in a hospital and it is disgusting how many females come in to get checked because of domestic violence.. what would drive a man to do something so sick and cowardly?

My boyfriend has expressed to me that he is not ready to settle down or to be tied down. He said he is commited to me in his own way by being faithful to me and when he says he will call me or he will meet me, he has never ever disappointed me in this way. He has always been pretty reliable, which I really like about him. Other guys in the past sometimes did not call when they said they would. He is always very honest even though it sometimes hurts but he says he prefers to tell me the truth rather than lying to me and doing bad things behind my back. Anyway, I am 2 years older than him, he is 26. He's a very ambitious person and he is aiming very high in his career. He says he is now at the stage of his life where he wants to focus on his career. We've been together for a couple of years but for the last year, it has been a long-distance relationship. I admit I have been quite pushy with him for more commitment but he says he isn't ready to give up all of his freedom. Should I worry?

okay...my sister is 16. she dates a guy who is 17. they have been dating for 2yrs and 3mon. she loves him..but. there is a guy she has known for 3yrs and she cares so much for him, she is always thinking about him and talking about him...she says she is crushing on him but he's 14...and she thinks it would be weird if she told him...they always flirt and stuff..but i have no good advice for her!!! i have no clue what to tell her..anything would help.

&& i know the age factor is kind of weird, but please...help me out.

I told her that my boyfriend is visiting me.All the details that she needs to know, i laid it all down.The where,why,when and everything. Next thing, i told her about my plans for my uni life.The where,why and what for and everything again. Still, i informed her about my plan for my 18th birhday this coming june. I told her that since i don't like partying and wanna take a break coz i've been working and studying hard, i wanna travel and go somewhere.Travel is my passion but she thinks im wasting money.I filed an annual leave from work coz i need a break from working for almost 2 weeks due to xmas season(lack of staff)and i need to study too.But she just wants me to study and study.She, who happens to be my mom loves me so much but she's being a control freak and now, im slowly suffocating! How do i tell her without making her mad(as she always use to be whenever i lay down my plans or ideas). I want to be independent and responsible in my own way but she always sees me as immature.

My youngest is in all day school this year and I'm thinking of working part time, but as it is I cannot stay on top of all the housework and other "mothering" chores that I need to do. Besides I have hobbies I enjoy (scrapbooking and sewing) that I'd rather not give up. As it is, I watch no television because I do not have time to! Do any of you have a specific daily routine that you follow so that you don't waste time? I'd love to hear what works for you!

we a have 21 months together, I was studing in the US and then I came back to my country and she came with me. Now she have to go back to the US to continue with her life, she's 23 and I'm 28.
We want to be together but its impossible, and a long distance relationship wont work because I'm not planning to move to the US (the inmigration thing is the mayor problem) and she doesn't want to stay here in my country (Peru)
It is very sad and I dont know if it's better for me to get closer to her or to be separate and pretend she already left. Please

Some people come on here to make up stupid questions and remarks. Usually I don't respond to them, but if u look at abbie q 's profile, you will see that she answers every question with blue butt cheese. It does kind of make me laugh. What is she doing? Hi, I really am quite rubbish at buying presents. I have been with my guy for nearly two yrs, and i constantly buy crap gifts. lol.
