GOD YES! I was with a guy for 5 years! We should have broken up at about 1 year. We didnt have much in common, I dont think we even really liked each other. But we lived together and the sex was pretty good. It finally got to be too much. Neither of us wanted to e there so we were looking for reasons to get out. It was a lot of stress and unneccesary heartache. Its best just to call it off when you know its over. Holding on just holds you back!

Sometimes people get used to the comfortable, the routine. They stay in the routine because it doesn't demand change and growth. Yeah, sometimes people do stay together because of the fear of change, but then again, some people stay together because they genuinely love, respect, and care for each other.

Yes. I also think that sometimes it is just easier to stay together. Or the old saying "old habits die hard". I think there are a lot of reasons people stay together other than love.

It's possible that that's a reason but another reason is they don't want to be alone.
