My long-term/live-with boyfriend has a mood disorder and anxiety issues. He's on medication which works well. However, he still has the occasional, bad panic attack. I've been trying to convince him to see a psycologist (not necessarily on a regular basis even) to get some copeing techniques. Every time I talk to him about it he gets really upset. He has an appointment with his psychiatrist coming up. I was thinking of e-mailing the psychiatrist asking him to talk to my boyfriend about it. Coming from an expert, my boyfriend would probably listen. And he could get a referral to a good/appropriate one. Would this be totally wrong? Thank you for the help!

Hey all... I'm having a really hard time this year. All of the Christmas memories are gone for me as I lost both sets of granparents, and my father ... leaving my Mother and a Brother I cannot talk to due to long-time issues...

I have a wonderful Husband - no children, yet feel so alone. My husband is absolutely wonderful... but growing up in a great family yet - have nothing left - breaks my heart.

I think that making a family brings that home... My husband and I chose to not have children as of yet - we're just not ready. (I'm 38 and he's 31..been together for over 10yrs. but feel the same way). How do us that don't have a growing family deal with a non-existent family during these holiday times?

Okay my friend, she really likes this guy. And she wont freaking stop talking about him. Honestly, hes a real assholee, but you know what? If that's really what she wants...Anyway. My b/f told me i had a horrible view on men i suddenly realized why.When i was only 6 i was raped.When i was 14 my father moved as far away as possible and hardly calls me or sees me.That same year i was raped again and he only went to jail because i burst into tears because they were going to let him go.Every b/f i've had(except two)were jerks.And to top it all off when i turned 16 i was raped for a year and my mother was abused when we told the police HE was the victim not us therefore hes still out there most likely raping and abusing some other woman.So tell me this guys why on Earth do men do these things??

I was never really "popular" more like a class nerd. Anyways, this year I have had more friends than the two I've previously had. Well, I appreciate my ALL my friends and am always there for them when they need me. Anyways, one of the two friends that I've always had, said today that she was noticing that I was getting more popular and that she thought it was embarassing for her, bcuz of the way I talked to people (I told her that it CANT be embarassing..because people wouldnt talk to me if I was weird and plus she isnt my mom to be embarassed of me) well this guy i was talking to (my friend) said that she is jealous and i COMPLETLY AGREE...but I'm scared of her spreading **** about me and tell my new friends that Im not the "greatest" yes, if they are really my friends they wont ditch me...but i still need to make a "rep" with them. He still tries to get my attention (making weird noises, saying mean things,glaring, etc.) I've tried ignoring him, avoiding him, I even had to go report him for something really bad he said to me (at school). I guess I should be grateful im still alive and have my family with me .. but let me just say this year hasn't been easy for me at all. We have been dealing with my sister, she has Lyme Disease. We live in Texas have been having to take her to New York City to her Lyme Disease doctor, no help at all. She is the same. My mom had brain surgery because they found a brain tumor in the front of her brain, and she is recovering slowly but surely from it (it's not easy taking care of someone who has had brain surgery) my dad was diagnosed with diabetes .... I started my Junior year in high school which sucks and is hard as hell ... ugh i think im gona fly away to hawaii and sit on the beach by myself for a while i need to get away!
