Diagnosed with Diabetes 1. and i m really upset, cuz i dont want him to die.
But if he takes his meds all the time like hes suppose to do you think hes gonna be alright, im only 15 and hes 14, i want my brother to be around for my wedding and all man. So Please Respond and tell me if you think he'll be alright. Please

Yes he will be fine just be happy you found it when you did. It is a serious illness as long as he takes his meds, eats right, exercises and sees a diabetes educator or endocrinologist on a regular basis he will be just as normal as you are!!
If he is really serious about keeping his diabetes under control he should look into having an insulin pump! But he has to be very disciplined before he would be eligible for one of those.

Diabetes is a very treatable condition. I suggest you do some research on the subject. I think it's wonderful that you are concerned abobut your brother. Just make sure that he takes care of himself. Checks his sugar and takes his meds. With proper diet and exrecise he may even be able to reverse the condition.

HONEY HE MAY OUT LIVE THE BEST OF US, HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH DIABETES (sugar) not cancer yes he is gonna be just fine ~ cause & point, my grandmother was diagnosed with diabetes in 1980 it is now 2003 & she is well as can be and healthy at age 84y/o (smile) so relax sweetie & enjoy each day with your brother, he will be alright & if you relax you will also!!!

I think he will be fine i have type 2 diabetes and im fine just have him stay on his meds and all

He will be fine if he takes care of himself! My grandpa has had diabetes all his life and he is 87 now! Don't worry!

its hard to hear wen someone this lcose to u has a disease. dont worry. hopefully all will go well. just make sure that he takes care of himself and help him as much as u can. if he does wat hes supposed to, hopefully all will be ok for him and i hope hes ok!
