Have you ever really hurt yourself and had a horrible wound/bruise (from being clumsy and falling into something, falling down a flight of stairs, "rough-housing" with your spouse/gf/gf/whatever) and gone to work (or a friends house) and your co-workers (friends) are convinced that your spouse (or whatever) is abusive?

I'm wondering because this happened to me a few years ago. we lived in a basement apartment and I had been drinking and almost fell down 15 stairs but caught my shoulder on the hand rall...probably saved my life, but I had a bruise that was the size of a grapefruit (and lasted for months). My boss was convinced that my husband was hitting me. It was really funny...she even tried talking me into going to a battered women's home.

and I don't know what to put this under so sorry if its "miscatergorized"..

if you are always being ridiculed, charged with crimes you didn't commit, and cannot getover the fact that somethings cannot change because of you , weighted with shame and doubt...and can't go somewhere without knowing your being watched and maybe someone's out to get you....

Baby is 17 months old. Has decided he cant sleep without Mommy and Daddy. He goes to sleep fine. We put him in his bed and then within an hour, he wakes up, finds us and falls into a long sleep if we're with him. I dont mind him sleeping with us but he flops around like a fish, kicking us in the face, etc,. What to do?

My husband and I have overcome many horrible things since we married 7 years ago. His health and then my health. Organ transplants, surgeries, forced career changes, Bankruptcy...losing our family home. Homelessness. Etc.

Our kids are great, we have been working hard to repair all the done damage. We are both healthier...but now our finances are horrible.

All our friends have been able to finish school, buy homes and have nice cars. We are living in rent controlled housing and cant afford an oil change. I work, he cant, he is disabled...I don't think things will ever get better and I want the best for our kids and our family. I would love to have pets and our own backyard and not have to share walls with the neighbors. And to be able to apint the walls without asking.

My boyfriend & I have been together for a while & live together. I will sometimes be on his computer & see that he has been to porn sites. This really irritates me cause I feel like I must not be good enough for him or I must not satisfy his needs enough if he is going to other sources. I need help! My 14 months old baby hates solid food. I've tried everything to make him eat but no luck. I am worried that he's not getting all the food nutriens he needs for his age. His pediatrician told me to give him Vit. supplements but vitamins are not enough, I want him to learn how to eat different variety of solid foods. Any suggestion?
