Friends - March 2007

I can't see light at the end of the tunnel. My dilemma is that since childhood, I have not been loved, sufficiently. My parents were always busy with their brothers, sisters , cousins and relatives.

I have spent years of isolation in tears. That made me believe that I am not worth them. It also developed a protective distance between me and people around me.

I thought that a friend will make me feel better. I am not just a taker. I give more than I take from others. I felt a strong need and liking for a girl. I did what I could to tell her that but she thinks that I am not worth it. I look fine, I respect people (everyone), Why my love is always torched and dumped ? She can make all sorts of friends but not me ? Things have made me believe that I am worthless and I have no basis to live with people. I meet people but there's absolute disconnect in me. Please Help

I'm getting talked about at school. But i didnt do anything..also im went up to them to try to get them to say y there talking about me but they wont say anything.the people that talk aobut me go to my friend and talk about me to them and she is telling me everything they say?what sould i do?im confused

i left school before all my friends so they all bonded more with each other but i stayed close with the gbroup (bout 20 ppl) but then my first love (best male friend) that i was seeing for a while but stopped started seeing one of my best girl mates. so everything went wrong from there, they saw it that they couldnt tell me thinks case i got upset jealous felt left out. but they all pushed me out not meaning to. its being bout a year now since its being ok.. but now ive got all these new friends i miss my old ones. when i see them all there so happy to see me they say they miss me and i miss them! what do i do? i dont have the confidence to cal them to go out as they often think i just after my ex but i have a bf of 2 and a hlf years i love him no one else!!

what do you advise?

and she has open admittedly stated we have grown apart, and that we need to live our own lives..I moved about an hour away from her 2 1/2 years ago. Should i just let this friendship die and fade away?

I was at this carnival type thing with school where a bunch of different schools come together for the same activity. This is where i saw him. I know what school he goes to so i looked him up on myspace. I want to get to know him, but i wont see him again until next year. What do i do? All i want is to make him a friend. nothing more.

i have the bestest of friends in my enitre life but she has her own "clique" should i say? she assures me she will be my best friend forever but i still come second when she says i don't. her 'clique" doesn't like me being friends with her so i broke it off and said this isn't going to work but i still want her as my friend when i know i can't have her. i'm very depressed by this.

My friend is living with her Aunt and Uncle. They are abusing her dog and treating her badly, but not abuse. I am worried my friend's little 1 year old cousin will be next. I can't call social services for she will loose her mom forever. Any advice?

i'm a pretty shy person, but i'm really outgoing once people get to know me. this guy seems really outgoing, but also shy like me. i want to get to know him, but i don't want to be clingy and make it look like i'm forcing him to talk to me. the guy is in high school, like me, but i think he may be older. we go to a youth group thing together so that's the best way for me to talk to him, but i also don't want to make it look like i'm flirting. i just want to be friends with him because he seems like a pretty cool guy and the rest of the girls in the group are stuck up and have their own cliques already. the guys are a lot easier to get along with.

One of my girlfriends has a crush on a guy that I work with. However, she has a boyfriend who she has been with for 7 years. She has cheated on him in the past, and recently she wrote this guy a note and stuck it in his door at his house. The note said something to the affect that she would love to "hang out" and for him to call her. She constantly comes up to see him... and he does not like her at all. So a girl I work with and I told her boyfriend that she wrote this letter, since we are friends wih him. We are going to show her boyfriend the letter tomorrow. When her boyfriend confronted her about writing the letter, she denied it, and then told him that I am the one who wrote it to "set her up." I am mad at her for pinning this on me... what should I do?

Ok, so i have a lot of really good friends. But, i have some not so good ones. One of them (i will call her A) is knd of becoming a pain. She always is getting wrapped up in the drama and pulling me into it as well. She is always bugging me asking if i am mad at her. If i dont talk to her for a few minutes or i talk to someone alone she says that she is "uninportant" and it gets me so annoyed. But, i dont know how to tell her. I NEED HELP!!!!

okay so this girl was talking to me one night and said that she liked pain and it was fun and i was like wow thats kinda emo and now shes gunna punch me and try to break my arm because i said that. i need some help. ill get suspended if i fight back but on the other hand if i dont ill get hurt. ive already got suspended once this year. please help!
