You said "A, is becoming a pain..."
I take that to mean she's started doing this recently.
If that's the case, this would be a good time to get her alone (away from everyone else) and ask her "What's going on with you? When did you become so insecure? And what's with all the drama? Are you trying to drive people away? Talk to me. I want to help you"
or something like that.
Very important that you talk to her alone and not where anyone else can hear you, because that would just embarrass her.

Dont put so much of everyones drama on your shoulders. Im going through the same kinda situation. Tell her you care about her but that you cant handle being dragged into her problems. Sometimes people just have to deal with things all on there own.
As for her bugging you, tell her to stop being so insecure about herself.

I have a same kind of friend as yours. Try to weigh the pros and cons in your friendship before asserting her because there's a risk that she might take it the wrong way if you did tell her. Then, try to tell her that all of your friends are important and special to you. But that you can't always be there for her. It's not that she's not important or anything but there will always be times when you won't be around her. You both have separate lives after all.

Just tell her.
The more you keep quiet...she will start taking advantage of you.
Sometimes you must make it clear to people of how they are crossing their line. If you never tell em...they will never know and they will continue what they are doing.

WOW does she have any other friends? Maybe she is jealous that you can have so many friends and she cannot maintain one. I would start to ignore her and distance myself from her.

you just need to tell her that you two are seperate people and you don't need to deal with her problems as well as your own.
