sue and tom actually have been dating on and off for 15 yrs until tom married my friend 2 yrs ago.sue ran into tom at a conference after not seeing him for over 3yrs but was only able to say hi do to thier schedule.this sparked a phone call between them(not sure who called who)which made sue frustrated.when i asked why she replied when 2 people have a history like we do,i would expect more than a 15 min. conversation about "small talk".when i asked her if she wanted more she said she's not sure just "different".sue is single and knows tom is married.my friend has no clue that any of this is going on.i'm afraid because tom left his last gf for sue so he could be tempted again.i know its not my business i just feel bad for my friend if sue is up to her old tricks again.so my questions are from what i have just said what does my sister want from tom?why would she expect different from a married man than just small talk?is it a bad sign that tom has not told my friend any of this?

Does anyone ever feel trapped in their own home..??
Im a girl and my parents are very over protective. They log everytime I go out and have only one friend, where I work.

Im 22 and am doing a part time MBA at University so cant afford to move out. Im planning on visiting my friend in London (100 miles away) next week for 2 days. I feel sooo guilty because of what my parents will think. Should I be feeling this way?

I am indian and parents are very cultural........

Problem is, she lives in Ohio, and I live in North Carolina. She doesn't like doing phone calls, but we talk online and write letters all the time, but I still miss her. And I can't just go traveling all over the place to see her all the time. What are some ways we can see each other? And how can I make myself not miss her so much?

I was out with a group of friends for happy hour and one of the guys in our group was hungry, so after a table of people left, he saw they left behind a few pieces of pizza. The people at the table looked clean and were well-dressed at least.

Before the waitress had a chance to clear the table, he grabbed the pizza and ate it.

I have been best friends with this girl for 3 years now and we have gone threw alot. We were always close we USE to do alot with eachother, untill her mom started not to like me, so i never come over anymore. But we got in to a big fight one night over the phone, and she just started bitching at me and I told her " Please I don't want to fight with you.." and then she starts going off again! And then she said " Not everyone needs your help Veronica.." and when she said that it hurt me so much, then she said I am controling her life. When I have no idea how I am controling her life, i mean I haven't forced her to smoke pot or anything! then she calls me a whore and all of my friends.
And she thinks EVERYONE in school talks about her! And she acts like only HER! When everyone get talks about sometime.
I just don't understand what she wants from me! And all of my friends! She acts like she is the big news and that her life is screwed up everyday by me. When we dont even talk! Plz what!

OK so here is my problem, my best friend is friends with one of my exs. I cant stand it, he dosent really talk 2 her alot but these last few days he has and hes gotten really depressed and like mad because he finding out all this stuff about his ex girlfriend and stuff his cousin has been saying to people at her school about him.
