I had to move 700 miles I haven't secured employment yet, I'm about to lose my vehicle, I need medicine all I really need is just a little help to keep me going for a couple more weeks. I know after the first of the year I'll get a job soon. Don't I matter?

and that they sometimes regret talking to me because I ask to many questions. I believe I ask questions because it is easier to ask a question than have to express my view on something since I get a little self conscience when too much attention is towards me so I try to keep the attention towards the other person. How do I overcome this? And how can I improve my conversational skills?

I have two best friends, and they just happen to be twin girls. I am friends with everyone, but I am best friends with the twins, I am going to a Hannah Montana concert, and I need to choose between one of them who to bring, and I can't choose. If I choose one twin, the other will get mad, and if I choose none of the twins, they will both get mad.
What should I do?!?

I recently graduated from college and decide to get a job in same town as my college while all my college friends went back to their homes hours away. I have a boyfriend, and I find myself spending all my time with him because frankly it is difficult to make friends in a non-school environment. I want to branch out my social status, however I am no longer the type to go to the bar everynight. At my work, everyone is in their 40's...Where does a 22 year old find other people their age? How does one make new friends after the school yard years?

One of my friends gives blood regularly. It's weird because she's deathly afraid of needles. They have to cover her arm, and everything so that she doesn't see it. She even freaks out when the prick her finger. I asked her why she still gives blood & she says it's sucks but she feels like she has too because she's type O and her blood is always in demand. I don't think she should do it anymore. I mean I understand but she's really, really scared, if they accidently show her the needle she'll start crying! Does anyone else think this is odd?

He keeps hugging me really hard! It's hardly a sign of affection, he does it so hard it hurts. The last time, we were in his local pub and it was really embarassing. I didn't want to hit him in front of his pub-mates, but neither did I want to be crushed. I have tried hitting him, and this stops him doing it, that's for sure. But, I don't want to have to keep hitting him! I'm a peaceful person! What I'm wondering is if I should stop seeing him altogether, as this thing is really annoying me. He just doesn't get it when I tell him to stop doing it. He says, ok sorry, but then a few weeks later he does it again. Any ideas on how we can stay friends?

My problem is that i cannot seem to carry on a good conversation when i am on the phone with some of my friends,
when i talk to people in person i can carry a conversation, and make even shy people engage in the conversation,
but when everyone doesnt get to see me they call me and i have found that i have nothing to say, and i just need them to be impressed for a while,

i need good conversation topics, something that interests boys or girls not neccesarily both, or hints for holding a conversation.

I recently made an online friend this week, let's call her "Heidi". She is upset at me that I have to return to school next week and therefore won't be online to be with her all the time. I guess she has a lot of leisure time because I think she is an older lady, but I am not sure, all I know she is married and has a cat, and reads every message I write and comments on it.

Today she posted a profanity laced tirade about me online. It was disgusting. I wish something could bring joy to this dear woman's heart. How can we help her? my daddy says I should stop being so sweet and should probably just try to avoid her, but I believe everyone deserves a second chance, like people have given me, because well to put it mildly, I have had my troubles ever since my Mom died a few years ago and then I was abused by another person that was supposed to be taking care of me while my daddy was away. But I have too much love in my heart to let that get me down.

One of my best friends won't talk to me. She and I have been close friends for the last 4 years, and we've been really close over the last year and a half.

Recently she had surgery, and I dropped by her place to see how she was doing. I made food for her, talked with her, made sure she was doing all right, talked with her parents. Her family invited me to stay to have dinner with them. She knows how much she means to me, and she's told me that I mean a lot to her, too. It seems like after I visited her, she hasn't wanted to talk. She doesn't reply to IMs, text messages, voicemails...I got her a Christmas gift. She wasn't home, so I left it with her brother to give to her.

It's been almost two weeks since we've seen each other or talked. It kills me inside when we don't talk or see each other.

Did I do something wrong? Is there something I can do?

been going with my bf for 5 yrs and just got engaged.the problem is his exwife jo.she still loves him and will not leave us or his family alone.they have a 8 yr old son tom and jo uses him like bait to get into family functions and to contact my bf daily.she calls him for EVERYTHING, from tom stubbing his to toe to his last bowel movement(not kidding)which then leads into a 15-20 min conversation about other things.this would not bother me much if she was not such a ***** to me.she always trys to undermind me to my inlaws,and has made it very clear she wants me to have nothing to do with her son.my bf will not say anything to her period as he said he wants to take the high road with her for tom's sake and has told me if i don't like it get out.they have joint custody so she can't deny him visatation rights.he said i don't have a child so i won't understand his reasoning.i just feel she is controlling him thru tom and to involved in our lives.i have to live with it or get out am i wrong

I thought of getting a hotel room for girl fun - but some parents aren't going for it. She's not into the girly-girl stuff, but a few of her friends are.
