I recently graduated from college and decide to get a job in same town as my college while all my college friends went back to their homes hours away. I have a boyfriend, and I find myself spending all my time with him because frankly it is difficult to make friends in a non-school environment. I want to branch out my social status, however I am no longer the type to go to the bar everynight. At my work, everyone is in their 40's...Where does a 22 year old find other people their age? How does one make new friends after the school yard years?

I have the same problem except I moved back to my home town after a year of college. I don't know how people do it. I'm shy and a loner by nature but I feel so pathetic spending my nights by myself or with my roommate who is actually 20 years older.
