i know its usally a seasonal thing but why winter white?

actually....its funny cuz in forgien countries...india for example...everyone wants lighter skin....they stay out of the sun and use "skin lightening cremes" because i guess people think that what they dont have is the more beautiful feature....that's why americans want tan skin...because they don't naturally have tan skin....just like how curly haired people want straight hair and straight haired people want curly hair....the grass just always seems greener on the other side...

It's all a matter of where you live. In the Philippines, where most of the women are brown and tanned, they all yearn to have a white body. They feel that it's more attractive.

I actually don't think either look better than the other. Except for those cheesy salon tans. They're ugly. Whatever you got is great. If your tan, that's cool, if not, that's cool too.
If you mean about why the tan, its a sun is more visible in the summer than winter.

I do not think so , but I am in the vast minority. I think that when ladies go out and start "tanning" so much that they turn into a brown, burnt looking turd, it is disgusting. I like fair skin. I myself am very tan as a person of southern italian descent, but I think that unnatural tans are not good looking. In fact, I find anything unnatural bad looking.

Its the body that counts not the tan A nice white body is better then a big fat tan body.

Well, it's probably a matter of taste/fashion. I think people associate good health, fitness with being tan vs. poor health with being pale. Of course, this hasn't always been the case. It used to be that being tan was a sign that one did manual labor out of doors because one was too poor to hire someone else. Therefore tan skin was anything but attractive!

No I dont like winter white body for a man, they look more like charming polar bear than a sexy jaguar or tiger.
It's not that white skin is not sexy but for me white and fair skin (at elast clear) is mostly beautiful and sexy on ladies, not men.

I think probably because a tanner body covers up blemishes and looks less like the living dead. And usually you turn white during winter because you cover up because its cold out.

I think some will get offended that you asked that. I dont know myself. Im a nice cinnamin brown and I love my complextion all year around. Everyone shuould stop tanning and be proud of who they are.
