What do u do with a child who constantly keeps saying "dnno" when you ask them something?

well if child say don't know when you ask something then let the child know about possible answer and repeat it if needed. there are such factors affect child behavior just as the environment at home and school. at child age child learn from their elders, child see their behavior and turnthem selves in to it. i advise you to give them best environment regarding study, playing, eating habits and specially their behavior to elders as well as younger. last but not least pay all your attention when they needed though you are working whole day.

it's a fase, don't worry about it too much, i know it can be very anoing, if you really want to talk about things, try to do it during playing a game or drawing, don't ask " how was school" the min they get off the bus, give the kid some space and time, after a little while you can start by telling the kid how your day went and the kid will feel like he/she wants to share her/his experience.

say WHY don't cha know
ask questions that matter and have some impact one way or the other for the kid, then he or she will care and will answer
maybe the kid doesn't know the aswer, if you don't know its best to say so and not make something up

first just remember this wont go on forever. then explain to him that he has to say more then that because its silly .
tell him you wont listen to him if all he says to you is that. then do that each time he attempts to get your attention ignore him until he cracks and the game is up.

Make them stand in a corner each time they say it, reward them when they give you a good answer.
