Sometimes people can be so busy and preoccupied, they don't notice that someone is being friendly. It sounds strange, but it's true. I certainly wouldn't be offended.

I would continue to be polite to them, of course, but make friends elsewhere. Who knows, maybe these people are shy or slow to make friends, they may approach you eventually...as long as you continue to be polite to them.

Just continue to be friendly. I hardly doubt that those people who are ignoring you will continue any longer. Even if they do, that shouldn't affect your life. Life goes on, try not to let other people's ideas and opinions affect your life. Those who are not responding to your friendliness are probably not worth paying attention to. I'm pretty sure that someone sooner or later will realize your kindness. Im not all too sure. Maybe you could fill me in a bit with details through e-mail. I'll be glad to help.

Did you do anything to make them not want to talk to you? You move on, and find people who do want something to do with you. How old are you, is this a teenager, adult, child. The world is just full of rude people, don't stoop to their level, and keep being friendly :-) We need more of that in this day and age.

You continue to be friendly from a distance. Hello how are you, Are you having a good day, may god bless you etc. Don't let other persons mean actions discourage your good will and kindness. I have learned too that kindness kills the mean at heart.
So, if being kind is what you want to do continue to be kind and pray a good prayer for those who aren't.

Ignore them and move on. That just happened to me with a person that I was on good terms with . He just stopped talking to me with no good reason. I now ignore him (I am not rude but I do not go out of my way to say anything anymore).

Hmm...I think you should just ignore them. I mean, if they dont want anything to go with you, and you wanna be nice, ignore them, give them what they want.
