Friends - December 2006

I just moved to a new state to attend college and left all my childhood friends behind. I'm living with my aunt and uncle, and know absolutly nobody. In my old town all my friends where childhood friends, so I'm not very good at making new ones. One semester has already passed and still I'm friendless. I've joined clubs and 'am friendly in class, but it seems like everybody already has their groups and doesn't have room for one more. This has really depressed me, what can I do for next semeter to make friends?

i told my friend that i was starting to like her more than a friend and after that she ended our friendship because she doesn't feel the same and she said she's new to having relationships and that she's "a bit naive" and never had any bf's either. now she's not talking to me.

she clearly said that she doesn't want to be friends anymore, but should i try and work things out with her and be friends again after a while when she's had some space away from me, or just leave it and let go?

I told my close female friend how I felt. I also asked her if she FELT anything towards me at all, ever. She replied:

"I never feel nothing for anybody and every individual means something to me in their own unique way.Thats all I'm going to say". MEANING???

If we were just friends WHY wouldn't she just say so???I asked her to be blunt and that I wouldn't hate her for her reply. Help!!!Advice!!!

She then said there are too many ppl in the world who are 2 faced and selfish,who don't value individuals like she does.Is hurt that OTHER ppl don't value ppl the way she does.MEANING???

What she thinking\feeling???Will she speak to me again? What do I do now???

A baby boy was just born. He had all his pieces and looked quite normal, except that he was laughing - I mean laughing real hard. All the doctors and nurses were examining the little guy in front of his worried parents. He just kept on laughing, his tiny fists all closed and tears rolling from his eyes. Today, my best friend and I stopped being friends. She thinks that I'm kind of annoying, and that I don't care about basketball (we're on the same team) and that I'm not active in the church... I don't know what to do we've been friends for a while and it just hurts to think of what it'll be like without her... do you have any tips or anything...?

My BFF is starting to attack me all the time.First she say's I'm not supportive, that I unmotivate her to go to school;I spend hours helping her with her difficult subjects,never call her stupid,and sometimes even call her in the mornings(30min of my time)trying to get her to go.She still attacks me and say's I'm unsupportive, and in my face says I'm horrible at something while helping me with it.I confront her on this and she tells me I misunderstand and that it's a good thing that I don't let my life fall apart when helping others,then she attacks me again and says she does it on purpose becuase I'm unsupportive.I truly believe she is beautiful inside and out and will have a wonderful life.Men constatly hit on her,and ppl love her.She says Im lying and that I think she's ugly,don't believe in her,and want her to fail. so my best friends grandfather, uncle, and aunt passed away last year. Obviously a very hard year for the family and I was there for support at everything I could be. I go to her concerts and to her special events but when it comes to me and my events and deaths in the family she's not there. my granny died 3 months ago and she said she would be at the funeral and she never showed up. She said she was going to be at our concerts and she never showed up and tonight she calls and said she's not comin to the concert but didnt give a reason why. I feel like I try so hard but dont get the respect in return... What do I do?

Ok first off I want to say I have what is known as a "hypnofetish" I get really turned on when I watch someone being put into a hypnotic trance. You know the whole "Your eyelids are getting heavy thing" For some reason that is a huge turn on. Not the mind control part, just the sleep incuding. Ok..well I was talking with one of my friend who I work with as a tutor and we got to talking about hypnosis. She really wants to be hypnotized and wants me to do it at a party (I've studied it a lot) we are having next week. The question is should I do it? She has no idea about my fetish and i worry it would be like taking advantage if me hypnotizing her turns me on. I also have a bit of a thing for her, shes smoking hot. Okay, I'm the only female freshman in my gym class. There are only a few other freshmen, and they're all boys. I cannot stand any of them, all except one (who's really quiet). Everyone else is older, Sophomores to Seniors. I recognize a few Sophomores from my Geometry class and other Gym class, but they're all boys also. And I don't really know them. I don't even know their names! I need to make a few friends that are girls. But they're all older, and you know how different that is in high school. Plus, I'm not one people WANT to talk to. How can I make friends? I looked... all the girls there seemed to be the pretty, popular ones, or are athletic. None of those girls would like me!

Currently, I am living with my boyfriend for 2 years now. Our relationship has been full of laughters, cries, worries, disagreements, willingness to do things for each other, and visiting friends' parties together. I am very positive in my work and relation with family and friends. His family is in another country and he is not too close with anyone except a few female friends who have relationship problems and always share their stories with him. I have met his best friend (female) who was also his roommate before (they lived together for 5 years). She keeps contacting him through email and chat, mainly to let him know about what's going on in her life and her current dating scenes. My boyfriend was in the bathroom one day. I felt insecure and went to his pc to check out what she has written to him. She asked him, "I undertsand that it is important to be with someone who really enjoys being with you, but is that part missing for you?" I felt very sad that day.

Ok i like this guy (CJ) i meet about 2 months ago but i don't get 2 talk 2 him much anymore.He used 2 sit at my table since he was new but now he doesn't. I really like him but i'm not sure if he does 2.He's in 7th grade and i'm in 8th. I keep going out with my close female friend,(in touch practically everyday) we go to dinner, lunch together and for drinks in the evening. i told my friend that i liked her more than a friend 2 weeks ago but she didn't feel the same. she said that it got weird for her because she's new to relationships (never had a bf and i'm the only guy friend that i know she knows well) and now she doesn't want to be friends or talk anymore.

a day after i told her about my feelings, i sent her an email saying sorry for causing the awkwardness and asked her if we could still stay friends. she said "No" 5 days later after she thought about it. so we both said our goodbyes to each other through emails. i really want to talk to her in person about this... but can't because she doesn't want to.

she is leaving for a holiday on saturday this week and won't come back until end of jan next year. should i call her to say "goodbye and have a nice trip"? or just get her cousin (my friend) to say that for me? or just not do anything?
