This year, I don't have many classes as I did last year with my friends. So I made some new friends, but I still kept in touch with my other friends. My new friends are all in the popular circle and my other friends think I'm turning into a prep. I was hanging out with one of my new friends, and when she left, one of my old friends asked me since when do I hang out with the "mean girls". I feel that my old friends are jealous and they are definetly judging my new friends. What can I do to prove that I still care about my old friends???

I am a multipled disabled guy living in Essex England Uk
I am scottish born, and since commining 2 Essex have had no real friend, now I have lots of disabilities etc nobody seems to want to be my friend.

That was up to a few weeks ago, and thanks to this service I have found a really careing and understanding friend, we chat for hours on the net, he shares the same birth date as me, but moreso what I like and respect most from him is, he also shares the same soft and careing nature that I have, he knows how ill I am and does everything in his power to help me. It is unbeleivable the help, respect, friendship, loyalty and whatever the other words are I cannot name them, we are 21 years of age apart between us, yet this young man has been there for me where others haven't.
I am more than pleased that I started using the web from April this year and for starting to use this site, if It wasn't for this site, I would never ever have met this wonderful new and only true friend.

Me and some girl were best friends for 8 years,but now she treats me so bad that everytime I see her ,I go home crying because of the bad things she says about me.She accused me of being selfish,conceited,ungenerous,greedy,haughty,stupid and arrogant.Imagine it,ur best friend saying that in ur face .Everyday she tells me something bad .Once she told me I am arrogant.The next day she told me I am selfish.Everyday she tells me something bad,but anyways she is not my friend anymore.But she is my friends' friend .And everytime I wanna go out with my friends ,she is there.And everytime I see her,I go home crying.what should I do?she is with me all the time and she even goes to the same college .She blames me for everything ,probably talks behind my back and makes me feel bad when something good happens to me.How could I hang out with my friends without seeing her?

I'm a girl moved into a new town this year, and In June I met a friend #2 through a friend #1, and we all became very close. Friend #1 moved away, so I kept in contact with #2 and we called each other from time to time. In August, I got in a major car accident, so friend #2 called to see if I was ok and If I ever needed anything, that I should let her know. I told her no problem, but thanks for the offer (I didnt wanna take advantage of her), and we talked on the phone every week after that. In September, I called her to see maybe if she wanted to hang out sometime (she knew I didnt have a car yet: I was still shopping around) and she said oh I'll call you. My birthday was 9-26 and she knew that also and didnt call me. Recently, she decided to call me (11-17-06) and left a message. I guess I dont need friends like that so I didnt call her back. Then she called again 11-29-06. Should I swallow my pride and just call her, or should I continue to avoid her and just move on?

here is the thing,

i sent my friend an email telling her that my boyfriend and i had broken up. i am a complete mess about it. the break up was a surpise. the only reason why i emailed her instead of calling to be honest is because i couldn't stop crying. she didn't return my email at all about my break up news, but she did send me forwards. i emailed her again about a week and a half later and asked if everything was okay, and i asked her why she didn't respond to my email. she responded by saying that she didn't know what to say.

now don't get me wrong, i am thirty years old and i know that whatever she said wouldn't make the pain go away but i just wanted my friend there. when she and her boyfriend broke up, i was there for her. it be honest her failure to respond really hurt my feelings. at this point i am ready to cut her off. she used to complain that alot of her friends aren't her friends anymore, maybe they have a point. what do you guys think?

Theres these 2 girls who are friends with my best friend. These two girls keep posting comment on my best friends myspace saying how im a *** (which is rubbish) and much more. For the past 2 years i have been putting up with them and i have had enough, the problem is, my best friend doesnt stick up for me and i feel angry that they write stuff about me on her space like they think she doesnt care, but she does she just doesnt have the guts to tell them because they are intimidating and bitchy.

What i want is for my best friend to stop being friends with the two horrible girls that hate me. Is this rude? I know for a fact she doesnt really like them both but is kind of just being their friends because she doesnt have the guts to risk being hated by them.

I dont know what to do anymore, me and my best friend are really good friends and i want the other two to go to hell, i do nothing to them but every single day they make my life hell because i am friends with the other girl. help?

My best friend for years lives in Georgia and I live in Florida, every time she has money problems she asks me. I have already giving her over $200 dollars which she hasnt paid back. I have been repeatedly bullied in my college class and saw my lecturer about 2 weeks ago about it, things calmed down and then these three guys who were bullying me started again, I confronted one and then the lecturer asked us to sit down, another one started, anyway the ins and outs of it are, I retaliated to these bullies and then when I got called a tramp off one of them I hit him. One of the lecturers got hurt in the fight which I am truly embarrased about, I never condone violence I hate fighting....one of the bullie's friends rugby tackled me and smashed me up against the whiteboard which then broke, they have been suspended but I haven't, what will happen to me?

im bestfriends with this guy that i met online. ive known him for over 2yrs and hes the most amazing person i ever met. hes very motivated, goes to college during the day and works almost all night. and somehow he still finds time to spend chatting with me. he cares a lot about me and i care a lot about him but im nothing like him. im 18 with no lisence, no job and im struggling through highschool. i have no idea why he chose me to be his bestfriend but we have been for over 2yrs. he even sent me money because i couldnt afford stuff for school. it makes me feel really guilty. i also believe this is why we never dated. i can tell he likes me but im afraid he never pursued a relationship with me because im not as motivated as he is. do you think this is true? and if so should i change for him?

My friend, well now former friend, and his woman had a dispute that turned ugly. His woman is a very nice lady, who's faithful and loves him. He's not that way toward's her though. They both got into an altercation, in which she was accusing him of never coming around until he wanted some, and that he's cheating on her. Well, what she said really got him fired up because, the next thing i know he hit her right in the face. The next day he called me trying to justify what he did, but i refused to agree with him. I responded, that she didn't deserve that, no matter how mad a woman makes you, you should never hit her. Now he's mad at me. Now he's even madder that his woman soon to be ex woman, doesn't talk to him, but talks to me being that me and her are friends. I had to end my friendship with him. It shocked me seeing him do that, and trying to justify it was just plain dumb. I'm not trying to judge him, but i just can't be down with a guy that would hit a woman.What do you all think?
