does/did he live in your town? I assume so, since you are stating "I haven't seen him for a while".....check with the police if you suspect some sort of tragic end...or local hospitals,
mutual friends are always a good option...Is there some reason You can't call him or stop by??
there are other avenues, too, as "People Finders", which I think costs money....

Why would he be dead? He's probably just living life. And if he is dead I don't think you can find him cuz he's not here!
