i just dont trust him because i've noticed some things that r similar to that of an abuser.and he carries around this essence that i really dont trust.

instincts are usually correct. i wouldn't bring up the subject with your friend. that could hurt a friendship. you may want to just open a dialog with just asking how they're doing together and add something of your own dating or marriage so it doesn't look like you're snooping. she'll only talk about it if she wants to.
