Why is it that friends that find good jobs, forgets about their other friends? I think is because they think their better than everybody just because they found a good job, trust me they ain't and this is a true story. Because if I find a good job I wouldn't forget about my friends. Can someone answer that?

is expected to win, this is my first time and some of my friends at school are saying i suck and that iam going to lose! you know critiism is not going to feel down but it will make me stronger, becasue since this being my first ever race(7kilometers)

There Is this girl, her name is Joya and I have had a crush on her since I met her at the begining of the school year. I went out with this other girl Sam for almost 2 months, but then she chated on me with my friend Chris, we broke up shortly after that. That monday at school I asked Joya for some advice on how to tell if this girl I like likes me, I didn't use any names, she asked me what her personality is like so I started to discribe Joya to herself, not giving to much to away to let her know it was her. Then wednsday befor first period she told me that she didn't like guys, that she learned from her moms mistakes. After first period I told Joya how I felt about her, ok so I gave her a note that said how I felt. Then I walked the other way to my next class. I didn't stay long enough for her to read the note. I gave her my number in it so she could call me but so far nothing. Joya isn't the average girl, she is very energetic, wild, careing, ext.

Well as you should know im a new cheerleader.And my friend and I both went to cheerleading tryouts together.Unfortunately I made the team ad she didnt.Now she wont speak to me and she seem jealous everytime she sees me cheering at games, prep rallies,etc.We have been friends for one year and I already knew she was always the jealous type, but I thought she was going to be happy for me.But I am so confused because she called me yesturday and told me to quit.She told me that if I dont quit the team, dont talk to her because I will turn into a snobby preppy cheerleader.I dont know what to do because I love cheering and I enjoyed being her friend.But I have many other friends that told me I should stop being her friend.What do you think, should I quit the team or what?

My friends and I cooked a thanksgiving and afterwards drank a bunch of whiskey and beer. One of my friends had this girl over. She wasn't even really hot in the face so we took our clothes off and waved our penises in her face. ...well I loved this girl in my English class but was just shoved off. Every girl I try to become friends with, thinks I am stalking them because before recently, I was just a little speck in the middle of nowhere. I have tried to find a friend for the last 10 years but not one person I have ever met in my school years has actually liked me. I thought that not lusting after a girl every 5 minutes, trying to get to know a girl, trying to speak to a girl was what a girl wanted. I thought a girl wanted someone to love them for who they are and not for their body. But now, I see that even if I do have moral values, I am rejected again, to forever wander this Earth alone, maybe for another 10 years or longer. I am in Grade 10 yet I have never had a friend. They would swear at me every time I tried to talk to them. Or they would be nice to me when ever a teacher was present and then scoff at the thought of me sitting within 50 feet of them. What am I to do?

for me, my definition of a friend is someone, who regardless of their gender, age, ethnicity, sexuality, nationality and religion, you can rely on and turn to in time of need. you can tell them everything and anything, and they don't judge, laugh or make fun of you. they don't shout, become aggressive, nor resort to verbal abuse. a friend is a person who is loyal, respectful, supportive and often someone of whom you share the same interests or has a few things in common with yourself.

plus, i'd like to know as well are you best friends with mainly men, women or both? and also what makes a friend 'a friend', as opposed to someone like a work collegue who you get to know on a work basis? how good a friend are you to those you know and get along with? does friendships last forever, or do you make new ones as the years go by and as you get older? do you have any experiences or treasured memories of old friends from school etc?

The other day a very good friend of mine wants me to have a late Thanksgiving dinner w/ her and her family. No problem, right? Just go. Not that easy. I am very angry with her mother. She is my godmother. She exposed her kids to some pretty dangerous things, against her lawyers advice. She also exposed me and my sister to that same danger against my mother's demand. I can't say what that danger is but let me tell she was once a hero of mine, no longer. I don't like going over to her house without my mom, she makes it easier. My mom makes it less serious. I have known this women since I was baby, I should be loose and comfortable. But I always feel awkward.

So the question is do I go there and ditch my best friend who is always there for me, or not go to dinner with a women who put her kids, me, and my sister in danger. *If it were her dad trust me it would be no question, I would go.* Please help me out!

My ex boyfriend and I dated for about seven months in the 9th grade. He and I broke up the last day of school because of a stupid reason. I miss him terribly and I still love him. My friend leaked this information to him. So he knows I still love him. I tried to get over him and dated another boy in the summer. I went back to school and saw my ex. I realized i still love him. He and I are friends. He also started dating a girl this month. This girl is my friend and when I talk to her he comes up and wraps his arms around her. my bestfriend is anorexic and bulimic. she's in clinic right now, but all she thinks of it is basically just a hangout for her + her friends at clinic. ever since 7th grade, she's been on and off about the anorexic thing. then in 8th grade, she found bulimia. now in 9th, the clinic isn't seeming to help for she still eats, but not that much + she stops bulimia + starts up agian. she doesn't have a healthy love/friendship/ or family life right now + is going through a lot. is there anything i can say or do to help/make her stop ? please help.
