Friends - November 2006

My boyfriend pushed her away. I am really upset with her because we were best friends for 4 years and I couldn't believe she would do that. I told her that she isn't a friend and I never wanted to see her again. I trust my boyfriend and I know that he wouldn't lie to me because we have been together for almost 2 years and we even are planning to get married in the future. However, I am still super pissed at the situation and I would like to forget about it. Can someone give me ideas on how to let this go?

my guy friend is going through some thing with his (ex)girlfriend and i don't know if he wants to talk to me about it cuz like i think he likes me and i think that's one of the reason why she broke up with him but he thought they broke up a week a go and she all of a sudden starts talking to him saying its over but should i talk to him or what?

Im easily intimidated by people but I want to make new friends and have more guys like me. Im afraid to step out of my comfort zone and every day at schoo at lunch,I hide in the library and play with this yahoo thing. Could you ppl help me be more confident and comfortable with myself and less intimidated by others?

I need advice on my best friend. She and I have been friends for 15 years and as of lately she's on a downward spiral for drinking and occasional drug use. She doesn't drink during the week so she binges on the weekends. She usually ends up extremely incoherent, making a fool of herself and needing to be taken care of. I'm fearful that she's going to hurt herself or get hurt by someone else. I'm the only one that seems to be willing to man up and talk to her but I can't figure out a way to do it so she'll listen to what I have to say. I know it will be a blow out and I'm willing to risk my friendship to save her life. Any advice would be greatful.

I know I asked this earlier but I want as many opinions as possibl

I'm in high school, do you think that it is arrogant to just go up to a group of people out of the blue and ask if you can sit with them at lunch or something like that. I know them all and they all like me and I like all them and I've known them for years even though we're not really close friends but I don't know if that's like inviting myself and it's arrogant and I should just forget it. Also they're kind of popular and I'm not exactly popular but most people like me, I'm liked but not popular.

I'm still very much in love with my ex boyfriend and we have become decent friends agian over the past 3 months or so. I just got a message from my friends that his ex lindee who is also a mutual friend of mine is pregnant. They dated about 6 months ago and i guess he just found out. Im scared of how to react i don;t know hpow to react around her or my ex. Or my other friends who are friends with lindee if i freak out too much i could push someone away. Im kind of scared and shocked idk how to react im about 2 hours away from home and in college im trying to look at the situation as no big deal im here they are there. But when i go home it is a situation i will have to deal with face to face and im not sure how. Considering i still love My ex. I wonder what this will do to mine and his friendship. Im afraid our bond will dwindle.i need to talk to someone about this situation but i cannot turn to any of my friends back home. They're all friends with lindee so i dont know where to turn.

I am stressed. My roommate and I come from terribly different backgrounds yet I'm really trying. The thing is, she does things that make me feel awkward and she is totally oblivious to it. She doesn't invite me places with her, she leaves me when I do tag along and everyone in my dorm hall thinks that I'm the one who is not giving her the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes, I do rationalize it but, which I know is my fault, I expect a lot from her. I expect her to know that when we go to a party together and she can't find me that it's nice to call. I expect her not to bring guys home to our room before checking with me. I expect her not to allow her friends to open our door and open beer bottles in the door lock. I expect her to have common sense. So when she does these things, I just stop talking to her. After a while, I calm down and then discuss it.

Last night, she brought a guy home. I woke up to the sight of the two of them naked and their clothes on the floor.

My friend played a prank on me, he made conference calls to me several times and forwarded me onto a stranger while staying silent himself - ive been clueless as to who had been issuing these conference calls for about 2 months now and ive been very honest and open with him about my suspicion that it was him

He had denied it for those 2 months and 2 days ago decided to tell me that it WAS him afterall, and provided evidence because i would hesitate to believe him
He knows i was racking my brain out to find out who it was
It was him and his friend who were listening to see my reaction to speaking to a complete stranger on the phone

i feel a little humiliated seeing as though he had used me to get a few giggles...but also because he included his friend aswel, whom i dont even know! What i meant was, his friend was listening in too and laughing at me

Thing is, i still want to be friends with him, i've stopped talking to him expecting him to apologize to me, but he still hasnt

Okay listen-we just work and whenever we pass by each we always give each other weird looks like "You're the new freak around here." or something like that, I want them to get to know me for how I talk cus I am a cool person to hang out with but you just gotta know me first you know?
Plus-I don't work in an office, I work at Cold Stone and I'm only 16. The people I work with are around that age-teenagers, so yeah.

I last seen her back in 1990, she lived in Montgomery, Alabama. She graduated in 1994 from Robert E. Lee High School. We were very good friends for about 1 year. We hung out with Heath Daniels. W also wrote letters back and forth for years and lost contact. I would really like to get ahold of her again. Her Father lived in Forest Hills or Heights. Please if you know her let me know

my frend is holding a get together and this person i extremely dislike is going to be there. It will be a small group so there is no way of avoiding her! :o

I have been in love with my best friend for about a year now and I know she has strong feelings for me as well. When I asked her out she said she didn't beleive in long-distance b/c she had been hurt before by it. I also have feelings for my ex g/f but they seem to manifest in a much more sexual way while me feelings for my bestfriend are much more plain happiness w/o much sex drive at all. She also thinks that my feelings for my bestfriend are more of an obbsession. I don't know who to choose and go for. I feel terrible having to choose b/ceither way im going to end up hurting someone i care about. And either choice presents a missed oppurtunity. If anyone can help me decide go ahead and reply.

OK everybody. She came back again. This is the second time,
after she finished writing me her "goodbye" letter. I think that
when a woman, tells you that she is not gonna marry her
boyfriend, and that the relationship is not going to work, then
that is a sign. Are you with me on this ladies ? So after being
involved, with a beautiful, passionate woman, online, then I
am taking this to the next level. We have to meet each other,
face to face. 8 months later, and still going strong. It seems
we can't get enough of each other. So, do you think this
friendship is worth it ? And should we pursue a relationship,
in the near future ?
