I know I asked this earlier but I want as many opinions as possibl

I'm in high school, do you think that it is arrogant to just go up to a group of people out of the blue and ask if you can sit with them at lunch or something like that. I know them all and they all like me and I like all them and I've known them for years even though we're not really close friends but I don't know if that's like inviting myself and it's arrogant and I should just forget it. Also they're kind of popular and I'm not exactly popular but most people like me, I'm liked but not popular.

I would say the best thing to do is pick the one you think would want you to sit with them the most and would be most understanding and catch them some other time than lunch. Tell them you would like to sit with them at lunch but dont want to just envite yourself. If that person were to bring you over there you wont feel like your imposing and the others will go along without questioning.

Sit down next to the one person you know the most and ask how there boyfriend or girlfriend is. Make conversation and slide your self in at the lunch table. Don't ask to sit there then you will be to obvious that you are desperate to be popular. Just make casual conversation

I dont think there's anything arrogant about it.It's just like u taking a risk and it cant be a risk except it is taken.Since u're already friends with them,i dont think it will be difficult.Immediately it's time for lunch, walk up to one of them and ask him or her if u could sit with them during lunch. The reply u get tells u what to do.Even if you get a negative reply dont look down on yourself or get embarrased about it,afterall there's always a first time for everything. So why not give it a shot.Gudluck.

What you might consider is asking one or two of the friends in that group ahead of time if you can sit with them at lunch. That way you aren't imposing and you shouldn't be embarrassed to talk to all of them. Good luck!

Just take a chance and go and sit with them and start talking about something very interesting.

Give it a try. the worst that could possibly happen is they would just say 'no' and you'd walk back to your table. Is that so bad? See, you don't have anything to lose, so why not try it? If they say no, then just know that you're cool with yourself either way.
