Friends - November 2006

Some of my new friends at school tend to boss me around a lot and what ever they say ....I do it. It is getting hard to tell them no. What should I do? Should I stand up to myself torward them or keep on letting them boss me around?

Hey guys, ummhmm.. well you see there is this girl named courtney and up untill last year we would hang out alot like ever since we were real little. Well last year she stoped hanging out with me and she started hanging out w. people that hate me. Then we got into alot of fights. Finally we made up this year but we still didn't hang out. Now she is hanging out with this one girl named Jami that doesn like me and her sister, Sierra called me and was like...hey text me i need to tell u something ok?? i said why cant you jut tell me now... Then i heard Jami scream in the back ground"she wantd to tell you that im talking bout u!!" that just makes me mad that courtney, my ex best friend would hang out w. that girl that hates me and let that girl talk bout me... should i still talk to courtney??

Okay, me and my ex broke up some time ago. We have both moved and the only communication we have is an occasional email about twice a month. We never fought, I understood why she dumped me and was not mad at her I do not have the loving feelings for her that I once did. She actually dumped me through email right after she started seeing a therapist (father died 5 months ago, low self esteem, depression). She never really expressed her emotions and she was always apologizing for things, even the littlest things. When she dumped me she kept apologizing saying that she thought we had really good potential, but the timing of us sucked because she needed to sort her own life out before she could be happy in a relationship. My question is that I consider her a friend, but what is the best way for me to show her I care and hope she is happy, while not being too caring like we were dating? I told her that if she ever needs someone to listen to her, talk to, or vent to I am here...

Every time i start a relation ship my "friend " makes him dump me!! But then she makes him go out with her and dosnt care that she hurt me. Then my X-boyfreind askes me back out saying that he is sorry and that she is a slut and stuff. He says he wont talk to her and then she allways talkes to him and get him to dump me and the hole thing starts all over again. What schould i do??

i have often wondered if in different circumstances we might have been more than friends but this is not an option for us. i want him to carry on being my close friend but i sense he is different. he was flirting heavily with someone else a few weeks ago and this really hurt. have his feelings changed or is he trying to make me insecure.?

All this violence over the Playstation 3 just makes me sick! It's not bad enough that people are lining up by the hundreds 3 or 4 days in advance to get a darn video game console, but that people are fighting and robbing each other and acting like complete a##holes over a VIDEO GAME!!! A VIDEO GAME!!! I like video games myself but there is no way i want anything that badly that i would act like a complete idiot to get it. Some of the news reports i've seen where people were pushing and shoving and cursing one another just made me plain sick! I"m very interested to hear some other views on this. Is all this really worth a VIDEO GAME?

i'm getting my best friend, well more like my sister, a charm braclet for each of us, and i want to start it off with one good charm. See, we are sooo crazy, and spontaneous, we do the most outrageous things together and that really is the glue in our friendship along with so much more, and i want to get a charm that represents taht.

I'v made friends, alot of friends. ...Okay but anyways. We're friends. Not that close of friends. We talk, sit with eachother at lunch, laugh, ect. I kinda sorta maybe like her. Nevermind, let's put it as a yes I do, for the sake of discussion. So like, I'm just not sure. We have a wierd relationship. We pick on eachother, she constantly says she hates me, she's joking. We call eachother names, steal pencils, food, ect. from eachother. Tell others how much we hate eachother. But, everything she says, seems as if its meaning is the opposite. I'm not positive, if I want to risk the "hatred" between us, and also maybe have her friends (who are good friends with me) dislike me, think about me different (negatively), ect.

Suggestions?

few years ago she started having problems with depression & bouts of anger, with ex husband her children, the mailman etc. lost her job-has went on disability SSI-which caused more problem-low income for her-I have been loaning her small amounts of money here & there-turns out that she is bipolar-she has been spending$$$ on BS-not paying her bills-again shes asking for $$$ to pay her rent-she hasn't paid me back for jan'06 rent-she asks me for$$$ thru an email-I replied-yes I'll pay your rent but you need to try todo better managing your$$$ etc-She comes back at me with this OMG reply "I am a piece of $%& for telling her what to do & my family is #$%^ -for me to go to hell (2 pages of poison) she then left me a voicemail threatening me!Now she has blocked me-which is ok-now I have more peace in my life without having to look after her-I still worry about her-would like to know how she is-MY ???-Should I call-drop by her house-can't email her-I'm so torn-part of me wants to move on-HELP
