Well I dont know you personally, but I sure can relate to your situation. I used to have friends, that used to be my friends, but we grew apart, and we just arent friends anymore. Thats a tough thing to go through especially if you've been friends with those friends for a long time. I had to move when I was a freshmen in high school. I cant tell you how hard that was. Everything in my life had changed, but one thing I will tell you. Is if you want to make new friends, Just be Yourself! I'm sure you're a great person, and if you let those people see that side of you, they'll think the same, sure not all of them will, but the ones that do will recognize it, and want to be your friend. Just make sure your not making up a new version of yourself, remember no one likes anyone who doesnt act like themselves. Hang in there, everything will be alright.

To have a good friend you have to be a good friend and there still is no guarantee that the friendship will last. Some times you know you are going to like a person as soon as you meet they usually turn out to be be the best sort of friends to have.

Life is life, you gain friends, you lose friends. Don't worry about losing friends you make. If they're really your true friends then they'll always try to stay in touch with you.
Remember that most friends you make in school, you usually lose touch with.
As for making new friends, be yourself. There is nothing worse than changing who you are to be friends with someone.
Join clubs doing activities you enjoy, that way you'll meet new people who share your interest.

its the theory of life..
Give and Do not want more than you need..
Not only you'd have great friends, they would never ever leave you in time of the need!
Remember, a Friend in need is a Friend indeed.
