I made a friend in a new student that arrived 2 weeks ago. I was, I believe, the first personn he met and we became friends. He's pretty nice, but some other people aren't so nice to the "new kid." He sits at a lunch table with only one other boy. I sit with them too. He's pretty much a loner.
The problem is, the most popular girl in school (though nice) now has a crush on him. She asked me to ask him if he liked her, but he said: "I don't know her yet....so not yet."
Now I know that whether he likes her or not, he will ask her out because after being such a loner, the prospect of having Miss Popular as your girlfriend could shoot you right up the high school social ladder.
I know that after becoming Miss Popular's bf, this guy will drift into their crowd of drinking, drug talk,& plain dirty stuff. He won't hangout with us "innocent folk" anymore.
Now, he even interrupts our talks to ask about Ms. Popular. Is he going to drift away and become a "popular"? Will I lose a friend??

I have a friend,well an ex-friend,shes been really mean to me for years.Well we are both in middle school now and she haas become a very bad attitude person. She stole my boyfriend and she was talking about me behind my back.Calling me ugly and stupid for ever going out with my b/f.Well I heard she was talking crap about me and I asked her why she did it??? She told me I was getting mad at something stupid!! She said I always get mad at something stupid!!!!
She says all her other friends are awesome,cause they never get mad her!!! WELL HER FRIENDS AREN'T IN ANY OF HER CLASSES!!! One of the friends she said was awesome was someone she just met!! Give it some time I thought,that girl will get mad at her!!!! I am so hurt!! I couldn't stop crying after I got off the phone!!!!!!Being friends with that girl is living nightmare!!!! She always calls me stupid!! WELL SHE DOESN"T KNOW THE CRAP I DEAL WITH IN MY LIFE!! Is it something stupid to get mad at her for????

I've got a friend and shes always trying to control my life like its hers and telling me what to do and calling me stupid if i do it wrong but apart from that shes a really good friend and dead nice and everything but i'm sick of trying to do everything the way she wants me to, but if i object she just tells me off again!! i dont wanna fall out with her, can u think of any other way i can sort this out?

my grandaughter who is nine, has been excluded from school for her bad behaviour. This morning her friends came round and i told them she is not playing out, one told the social worker he smoked week and nicked, and another spat at the window when i was in the car. I do not like her going round with them, the thing is she wants to, she has had alot of other friends she can play with, What on eath does she want to play with them for, one boy had a go at me cos i had hold of her arm and told me to let go of it, only cos i did not want her to run off. i am keeping her in now because i do not want her playing with them, but she is giving me so much hassle. Even the social worker said she is just a pawn in the game to them and the minute their is trouble they will blame it onto her, she is doing my head in.

I dated this guy 2 years ago for a couple of weeks and suddenly i got scared and never contacted him again. He called and texted a couple of times and then stopped. 2 years later i felt so bad b4, i decided to contact him and we met up last week. I apologised for ignoring him 2 years ago and he said to me not to worry as he wouldnt have pursued it further anyway. Later that evening, we hung out in his house (as friends), then he suddenly ran his fingers through my hair and held me in his arms, i couldnt resist, he then slowly kissed me (it was amazing). We then kissed goodbye. But now this week he has been acting like nothing happened in his texts and now i really like him, i cant get him out of my head.He is supposed to be coming to stay with me on monday but i dont want to text and ask coz his texts have been quite distant? please help??

My friend was in debt last year and I offered some money to help her out. She paid back some of it but still owes me quite a lot. I haven't seen or heard from her for nearly a year now. Am I being mean in thinking that maybe she isn't such a good friend of mine. How long should I expect to wait for payback or shall I just leave it and learn the hard way not to lend money again. I have been trying to find my two cousins for a number of years. I am researching my family tree and wish to share information with them. I have never had any contact with them so have little to go on. I know their names (or did before marriage). I have tried all the usual sites ( friends/genes, etc). My male cousin does not show up on a name search ( he has an unusual christian name). How do I search out of UK as I wonder if he has emmigrated. Thanks.

I have a friend who has been living with a guy for almost a year, he has a son. They broke up last month, she still lives there and intends to stay there. She has decided to go back to school for a different degree -- even though I feel the real reason she fails to get a good job is because she's a job hopper and her resume is two pages long of such evidence. I m 23yrs,I have 3friendz from School life,They know each & every part of my life Ups & Downs ,I never hide anything from them,After completing my HSC in Sci due to my family problem i didng cont my Education but Our friendship continued till now My all 3 friend r in Tech Field .After 6yrs i have started my studies but my pick is little slow thing & going with hardware networking Course but whenever nowdays we meet they start asking such tech couse which never came across & use to say learm more friend still it lond path they use to laugh. which hurts me........they know i m continuing it after 6yrs but then too they asking such query ...Y either r making fun of me which hurts or for my good prospects......
