You should not feel that way because you are not! If you moved that is not your fault!Just make sure you call them every once and a while and just call and say hi! Keep in touch with them. Let them know what is going on wit u! Then about the whole cell phonw thing I don't know they might have one but they can't give you the #! You never know! But it sounds like they don't have one but that just me! Then if you want to go and hang out with them then just ask and then set up a time and all that stuff at school because if you keep putting it off then you will never get to hang out with them! So just forget about the cellphone thing just do everything in person at school or something!

I just went through the same thing, and I know how it feels.
I lived in my old place for 11 of my 14 years I have been alive. I found it very easy to make friends, just didn't want any. I wanted to stay true to my old friends. When I tried, they got mad at me, because I was not enjoying my new place, and the people in the new place got mad, because I wouldn't hang with them there. Just make the best of it, you'll find yourself not wanting to move back. Don't forget them, just make more friends. Maybe make the friends in youre new area, friends with your old area friends. The more the merrier!!
Take care.

Don't feel guilt about making new friends! If you feel like you're betraying old friends, maybe you should call them and talk to them, to tell them how you feel about it. It they are good friends, they will tell you to make new friends, and that it's fine to get their number. Just make sure that you don't lose contact and forget your old friends.

your not betraying your old friends by getting your new friends phone numbers, and ill bet you anything that your old friends want you to have new friends in your new location, but still keep in contact with them.
good luck, and go ahead, ask em' their numbers, hang out and have fun

wh dont you say somthing that would make them give you their number... or try to relate with them and tell your other friends that you are not betrayng them you are making new friends. it like having friends all over the world and you will remember all of them.
