Friends - October 2006

I just moved to college this semester and I dont live on campus, I live about fifteen minutes away. I have no friends in town but my husband. I have met a few friends at school but they have their own lives on the weekend, it just seems so hard making new friends, anybody have any advice?

There is this girl in my school, I used to be friends with her in 3rd grade, I got annoyed in 4th grade, I was so furious in 5th grade, and now its 6th grade and if she talks to me I get superrrr mad. She is such a baby and she is in the 6th grade. I want to just tell her to stop annoying me but this girl is a baby and babies have sadness issues. So how do I tell her to back off in a nice way. I dont want her to tell the teacher.

WTH is EMO? LMAO i have seen it in q/a's off and on but i don't have a clue what it means, hopefully someone will tell me and not make me feel so bad, thanks to all of you that understand.....when you get older you loose out on lots of new stuff.

i have a friend who recently moved out of her parent's house, she's18 yrs old by the way. Anyway the point is that she has been homeless ever since and she always gets kicked out of the houses she has lived in. she knows perfectly well that my dad would let her stay at my house but i really don't want her here because she's dirty,childish, has no manners and is very disrepectful to my mom...recently she got kicked out again(for like the 6th time)and doesn't have anymore places to go to, now she's asking me if she could come over to stay at my house i don't wanna be rude or anything what should i tell her for her not to take it the wrong way..?? PS:Sorry for the long explanation i tried making it shorter...

has someone ever told you that you were a slut, whore, hoe, ***** because you didn't like them? cause this girl i use to go to school with called me a slut and my best friend because we didn't want to hang out with her because she was such a spoiled brat and i told her off and we never talked again to each other.

a couple of my friends & i went rolling yards & we did it to these people who are sooo lazy & won't get up and do anything. well, one of them gave in & told those people. UGH! well, now she's like ur mom is gonna hate wat i'm gonna do to get u back. Girl don't need to be messing with my mom!!! That's a big time screw up!!! Anywayz, wat can I do to make sure they don't do anything do drastic? All we done was roll their yard & put shaving creme in it. But, I they said payback would be hell, & we just meant it to be a joke, but they are getting pissed & telling me to get over it or watever. DO I just need to stay up all night to make sure they don't egg anything or wat??

I have known my doctor for the last 7 seven years and he has always been so nice to me. Sometimes his staff would let me wait in his office other than the waiting room for my appointments and not the other patients. When I lost my baby he took it really hard and coulnd't work the rest of the day. Well anyway I saw him yesterday and it has been a year since I saw him last. When he got off the elevator he said to me, "How is my girlfriend doing"? and that just blew me away. This man in about 60 years old and I am 37. Do you think he has feelings for me?

A friends husband constantly tell us lies. It's embarrassing, 'cos we know a lot of the stuff CAN'T be true, but still he continues. I don't want to embarrass his wife, though we have started challenging him. The lies are always to make it seem that he has better does better has ultimate jobs etc. Some of the lies are obviously outrageous this is why it's so awkward. I realise he must have esteem issues going on but how do we stop him?!
Do you lie compulsively, if so why?? And HOW can we bring him back to reality?????

Hi. My very BEST BEST friend ever left me. Okay, what I mean is that We've been friends forever, but then all of a sudden she stopped talking to me after summer at the begginning of the new school year.
