one of my best friends just transfered to my school this year, and everything was great until suddenly her dad passed away. i later found out that she had a suicidle mind and cut herself. her mom abuses her too. her other best friend is a goody goody christian girl and she is keeping a huge secret from her. if she told, that girl would tell her parents and this big dramatic thing would arise. what can i do to help her and not get her in trouble? and without her getting mad at me and my other friend? i dont want her to hurt herself anymore. please help!

I was talking to a friend today over the phone and certain parts of our conversation led me to believe that he was lying to me. I know if someone is lying to me when we are face to face, but does anyone out there know how to figure out if someone is lying to you over the phone?

For example, stammering, taking a long time to respond to a question, etc.

My best friend knows i have a crush on her, but because she's attached, it can't go anywhere. I'm wondering if I owe it to her to let her know that the crush has deepened into something more meaningful to me, just to be honest in our relationship rather than because it'll lead to something. However, despite a few problems seperating my feelings for her as a friend and something more in the past, i've gotten to where i feel like the luckiest person in the world for knowing her at all, and if something else ever happens, that's cool, but i don't feel cheated if she can't return my feelings. bottom line: do i owe it to her as a friend to be honest with her under the circumstances or is it best to leave things be since it doesn't cause a conflict now for either of us??

just today i noticed my friend and english teacher go into the supplies closet together so i sneeked into the classroom and put my ear up against the door and heard them moaning...an hour later i asked my friend about it at lunch and she denied it but ...i could tell because her shirt was inside out and her hair was kinda messing and her makeup was smeared...what should i do ??should i tell someone about it ??or sould i not jump to conclusions?

someone i considered a friend got pissed for my oppinion on her man. i think he's a jerk so she all of a sudden grew balls one night and decided to tell me off. i tried to keep it civial, & didnt say anything bad back. i've kept my distant cuz i dont want drama. now i keep finding out that she's talking sh*t to a bunch of people that are mutual friends.
do i continue being the bigger person & allow her to run her mouth or should i say something?
it will be wierd regadless, she refused to invite me to her wedding (which didnt hurt at all) & i havent talked to her in over a month.

Is it ok to ask out a taller, older 10th grade girl, when I'm only in 9th grade? Also, I don't know if she has a bf, so how can I find out? (I don't know any of her friends, so I can't find out thru that). Okay sorry about putting this here but i need opinions

Im a guy.

Over the summer i found out that one of my friends (girl) likes the way i look

I get back to school and she is more on me than before. I really didnt think to much of it. Then three of us are hanging out. She starts resting her arm on my knee for some reason. Then a little later i touch her shoulder and she flat out hugs me.

I brushed it off because she always was grabbing my shoulders before and hugs or wrestles with a few other guys. And shes always joke hitting everyone.

Then a week later she stops doing it as much. Now she barely does it at all. But every lunch weve got together she makes sure to sit near me. Shes always looking for me.

So whats really going on. Are these signals

the other day, i caught my teacher staring at me as she walked by my desk. She just smiled, and i gave her a weird look, and looked away from her. Then today, she didn't even talk to me, even though i'm her teacher's assistant. She was talking to the class, and standing diagnally behind me, so i could see her out of the corner of my eye, and i could see that she was looking at me for a few seconds. Why would she act like she's embarrassed, even though she's a teacher, and i'm her assistant? I asked her a question, and she could barely look at me.
