My best friend is a guy and we both agree that we are like each others best friend but he likes my best girl friend. She and I agree not to let him get in the way, since the past week has been hard on me. What should I do about this?

Your question is unclear. Are you afraid that he might get sexy with your friend? Why not let him? If he's your friend let him live his life, for chrisake!

I think you shouldn't get involved in the stuation. If he likes her and she feels the same then they can figure out what to do next.
Don't be the person going back and forth telling info to both friends about each other because that could cause problems.

Let them do what they want to do. If they want to get together, they will, whether it's with you around or behind your back, and perhaps if they think you wont like it, they will avoid being with you so they can be together. The best thing you can do is let whatever happens happen and just accept it.

tell him how u feel, and let your friend know that how bad it will hurt u if she dates him, and if they still do after u talk to them both then they r not true friends in the first place

it sucks when that happens but you have to let what is gonna happen happen or it will just put more stress on your relationships
