someone i considered a friend got pissed for my oppinion on her man. i think he's a jerk so she all of a sudden grew balls one night and decided to tell me off. i tried to keep it civial, & didnt say anything bad back. i've kept my distant cuz i dont want drama. now i keep finding out that she's talking sh*t to a bunch of people that are mutual friends.
do i continue being the bigger person & allow her to run her mouth or should i say something?
it will be wierd regadless, she refused to invite me to her wedding (which didnt hurt at all) & i havent talked to her in over a month.

oh the jerk comment came from a dinner that we were all at. he was calling the waiter names to his face & i think it was disrespectful. all i did was mention to one girlfriend of mine "he was acting like an jerk, it was uncalled for". so in a druken conversation my girlfriend mentioned it to her...oh well. i'm not mad at all, just annoyed that she knows i hear the things she's saying. seems very HS and i am way past HS. i'm just wondering if there's a moment when i should draw the line and say "enough"! when do i step up and call her on her sh*t?

If your opinion was honest, you are entitled to it. If you didn't tell her about how you thought, that would be a more appropriate thing for her to be pissed about. If the guy is a jerk people will know she is talking sh!t, so I wouldn't bother saying anything. She'll probably figure it out once the honeymoon is over, and he starts showing his true colors.

girl don't let her diss you because you told her how you feel about
her man and don't let her be talking no smack about you behind
your back, I know you said that you didn't like drama but girl it's
time to bring out the gloves. forget about being the bigger person
don't ever let anybody think that they got the best of you let this
girl know that your not taking anymore of her back talking sh*t
and let her know that your in control of this situation now. you
didn't do anything wrong by telling her that her man is a jerk. don't
let her get the best of you and friend or no friend don't take no
smack off noone regardless.

Treat her with indifference. Never give in and stoop to her level. When mutual friends try to tell you what she has said or is saying...show disinterest and interrupt them and change the subject or turn your back and walk away as if something else has drawn your attention... Don't hear what has been said...It doesn't matter as she does not matter. The fact that you don't care will get the point across.

Let her run her mouth off. She'll talk herself right out of those friendships. And besides, who needs the BS and drama anyway?? Move on and drop her.
Plus, you know that one day she'll figure out this dude's a jerk and maybe then you can be friends again.

I say be the bigger person. Ignore her, especially if she married the jerk. Sounds like she lost a good friend and gained an idiot.

that friend of your was hurt and at the same time immature, let her be,dont fight back, you dont want to play her game she acts as if she is a child, let her be i tell you, dont fight back, you know better, you were only telling the truth, its hard being enemies but then that is the game of life, let time heal both of you
just dont fight her, never bad mouth her, act like a civilized person, because you know you did the right thing

just fall back from that friendship. you may have upset her by badmouthing her boyfriend but there is no need to continue her badmouthing you.

let it go... it will pass w/ time. and be careful what you say- what is the worth in offending people? If she wanted to know what you thought, she would have asked you.
