Translate them wrong. She won't ask you to do it again.

First of all be honest and tell her you simply dont know. Should she dismiss it again, explain how you can put her work at risk for not doing the job right and leave it at that. If she insist, explain how you feel about the situation keeping the focus on you and not her. Be careful with your choice of words as you can put her in the defensive. An example of delivery is "I really feel uncomfortable doing this. I am not very familiar with it and am afraid I might mess it up." , "Why dont you try to work on it and then you and I can clean it up together.", "I have some things to work on myself and not really have time to help but if it is something that you already did and does not take much time to do, I will be happy glaze over it for you."

Hope this helps, the last thing you want is some feud with a friend but if she takes offense, please take it as a sign that there are much more people out there who will behave much better than she does.

It's always tough to say no. My best bet would be to just pretend to forget about it. If she asks again, just say that you have a bunch of work- maybe someone else can do it or give her advice on how to complete her work.

she's your friend, so say no gently. tell her it's her work and she should do it, and besides, you say you're not familiar with it. but tell her also that for other matters she can come to you for help.
